Well they did update the status on one of my entries in that they asked me to lower my reserve. Sounds like they'll need at least a couple more days then to re-review them...

cool, looks like they are getting through them then :)

all mine are still showing unconfirmed, there's no more updates on the blog regarding time frame.

No Update to any of mine - So Im guessing either none of them are making the cut or.... perhaps saying Monday was the day to release the auction list was a bit pre-emptive...

And BTW, mine was ranked a 687.

Interesting - that gives hope to about 5 domains of mine. What was your domain if you dont mind sharing?

Sorry I'd like to wait until it's approved (it's a strong two word generic related to the travel industry). :)

I submitted fairname.com though, which was surprisingly a 697, but still have 'review pending' listed

Hey guys,

If you look at the comments for the older posts regarding the auction, they said how over the weekend they received 7000 last minute entries, so they were postponing the announcements a day.

So does that mean, today?

Yeah, The process is taking more time that scheduled. A few names have been approved in people’s accounts. But the public list is not available yet.

So... some people have been notified, I wonder how many of the 450 is a "few"....

Their scoring is giving funny results and must probably be reviewed.
Maybe this explain why they are late, probably looking again at their scoring algo.

They say they will probably only consider names scoring over 700.
If I take the first names submitted by -RJ-:

buyrealty.com 731
webmt.com 721
greatsoftware.com 721
...

None is based in terms having a significant search popularity, at the inverse!
Plus the term frequency is not outstanding.

Sorry -RJ- but without want to be rude these names have low value (you have probably more valued names).

Strangely all the generics I sumitted having a significant search popularity, and based in terms with great bids are scoring under 700.

Very strange....

Hes absolutely right RJ. I'll give you $50 for the lot to ease your suffering. I know you expected a lot for these domains... but this is what I can offer.. Maybe $55, but I'll need to check with accounting.

roflmao. Don't do it... I'll give you $100 (!).

I think just the 3 mentioned are worth more than most people make in a year.

I think domaintool's valuation algorithm is different, but then what's new.

MWZD has forced my hand. Clearly these are above sub-par domains. I'll beat his offer - $150

Hey STOP!

I simply taken the sample of -RJ- because his names were the first listed in this thread, no other reason.

Also, there is no ofense to say these names are of low value when they are based in very bad metrics (otherwise prove me the inverse).

-RJ- like me or you have bad, good and very good names.
My feeling is that the DomainTools.com scoring for the moment is producing valuation results that look likes not logical.

Last point, when I say of low value I mean less than 2K.
Compared with the generics I submitted for testing that worth +50K.

This not change anything about the fact that -RJ- is one of the rare domainer I appreciate (trust me I can count with my hands the people I really estimate in this industry).

For those of you worried because you haven't heard anything, but "apparently" some have; I wouldn't stress just yet. I submitted these names and am yet to hear back also:

DataCube.com 681
Mechanism.com 736
Pains.com 752
Character.com 741
Copies.com 749

Not that these are a "lock" or anything, but I just think Jay is legitimately overwhelmed at the moment. I hope my reserves weren't set too high! If they were I'll just skip the auction all together! Why compromise expectations?

No automated valuation or scoring method is going to be perfect. You of all people should know that. It scored my Poker.in a 0 and TotalHD.com under 400 and some of the arguably worst names I submitted in the high 600s.

Today I have a domain ranking over 700 with a reserve of 50K that should be accepeted, just the reserve price is a problem:
Basically they tell me the name is good but the reserve too high and what?
They suggest me to accept a 1K reserve.
They are nice people :)
A domain I purchased 8K last year and for which the last declined offer was over 50K.
That's sure if they are asking so low reserve they will not have a lot of domainers that will take the risk to sell their name in this auction.
Incredible!
As you may imagine I removed the name.

Jay, you not only have to review your scoring algo, bust also your appraisals.

It appears they havnt published the domains for sale, but have marked your domain names "Confirmed" if they are accepted in the top 450

It appears none of mine have been.

All unconfirmed here too

All uncofirmed as well, though interestingly enough they updated the score of Poker.in to 779. I wonder if that means they're considering it. If so, I would imagine they're considering PN.net too as it's over 800.

Edit: Looks like they now say Confirmed for Poker.in, but not for PN.net or anything else. Interesting...

I submitted a bunch of domains (mid to high 600 scores). Left the reserve price at $1000.

At this point all are unconfirmed...

I changed the reserve to $2000 on one and then it suggested that I set it to $1000.
I set the reserve back to $1000 and the domain becomes confirmed.
My other domains did the same.

Why is this happening?

Maybe they were good submissions at $1,000 and they accepted them? How many is a "bunch". Out of about 30 of mine, they took a few off the list entirely and only confirmed one (the best one of course, but had hope for the LL.net making it). They have not said squat about my reserves.

I entered 16 domains.

Can it be because I entered them today, so it's too late for the live auction?
Or, is it a bug in their script? Try setting one of your domain to 1000 and see if it suddenly gets confirmed.

Has to be a bug....

vegaspremium.com has a "Domain Confirmed" on it and the score is zero.

Mine still show pending review, as of today

I went through all my domains changed the reserve to $1001 and back to $1000. Now they all say "Domain Confirmed" in the "Auction Note" column.

Am I looking at the wrong page? (http://www.domaintools.com/live-auction/)
