Domain suspended - How long till deletion?

There is a domain I really like that is registered until 2012. However, the Whois info says:

"This domain name has been suspended due to invalid Whois information"

GoDaddy is the registrar.

Any idea how long it is till GoDaddy releases a domain like this?

If I recall correctly, Godaddy no longer deletes domains with invalid whois. I believe they now simply hold onto them until their current expiration date. This may give the registrant the option to correct the issue and reclaim the suspended domain name.

^ I believe Mr. Spade is correct ... though I personally might place a $14.99 backorder (which is transferrable) on it at GoDaddy (since it is a GoDaddy registered domain name); crazier things have happened with unexpected releases/DROPS, IMHO. :lala:
