Hi everyone,

I got an offer for my domain on flippa auction from a guy who registered on Flippa 25 minutes ago and is from UAE. Is it possible that he registered just to buy my domain ( because I promoted it on facebook) or is it a scam?

Thank you

if the bid is reasonable I would think it is legit, if they are offering $1M for lifuhnsef.com I would scratch my head

Both Scenarios are possible... he might have just registered to buy your domain. Change the payment method to Flippa escrow to give yourself some level of protection if you feel the buyer might be dodgy....

You should increase your domain value (DA and PA) then users will definitely like to own your domain name for higher price. If you have old domain name then you can easily sell it as compare to younger domain name.

This is normal, people often register on Flippa only to make an offer to a domain that they like. This is because when you Google a domain name, Flippa selling page comes close to top of the results.

Still, use Escrow / Flippa Escrow for payment :)

For those selling domains, one big issue is selling the domain safely for large amounts, Escrow.com makes sense, and for smaller amounts, PayPal (if you trust the other party) is fine.
If the main concern though is how do I make sure I really get this money before I make the switch, then Escrow.com would be your best choice.
