Domain purchase

Hi all greetings for the day i had purchased a new domain for 9.99$ and my bank account shows as pending authorisation for this particular transaction. can i know the price variation

The amount being deducted should be the amount showing on your invoice. You should have an automated email receipt for the purchase showing the amount you were officially charged, as well as an invoice you can view when you log into your domain registrar account.

Most bank accounts will show a pending status until the funds clear. Being the holiday weekend you may want to give it a couple of days, as banking institutions may vary with clearance times.

With regard to variance of price, if you were charged 9.99 as your post reads, then you should not see more than that amount being deducted, unless there was additional taxes or icann fees, etc. Check your invoice statement for the final total.

Overseas transaction charges can hit you too...in England to use Godaddy or Namecheap for instance every purchase will set you back £2.50 on top of registration.

Well, I too had similar queries. It is very simple to find out. All you need to do is to check the amount that is showing on your invoice and you can see the amount which was taken for the whole process. Anyway, if you are seeing any pending status, do not worry as most of the banks tend to leave it that way until the funds are completely cleared! In short, it should take some time!
