co.in domain transfer from goodluckdomain

Hi,

I have some domains registered with goodluckdomain.in

I want to transfer to other Registrar.

But don't able to find Authorisation Code.

Is contact id is the same as Authorisation Code.

Pl.advice me.

I don't have the answer, but I have an interesting story....

I recently won some names registered there (soon to expire) and I couldn't find the AUTH CODES either. When I wrote to them requesting the codes, I got a reply asking me why I wanted to transfer away (but no codes). I wrote them back informing them the main reason was because they didn't accept PayPal and I needed to renew the names soon. Next thing I know, they offer to renew the names for me in advance, and send me an invoice allowing me to pay them back with PayPal.

They really want to keep their customers!

No, I never got the codes, but they were very friendly and my names are renewed now, so I didn't pursue it any further. I'm assuming the only way to get the codes is to contact them because they are not anywhere on the site or domain interface.

*My domains are at "NamesBeyond.com" which is apparently a sister company or partner. The interface says "NameWorks.bz" on the control panel, but the registrar is GoodLuckDomain.

I am in a similar situation with DomainDiscount24.

I would like to transfer some .in domains from DD24 but I cannot find the "transfer secret" (authorisation code) from their website. Is it necessary to contact DD24 or am I not seeing clearly?


UPDATE: the transfer secret at DD24 is found by clicking on the 'i' next to the domain name.

Yes, I'm sure they will give you the codes if you insist. I didn't bother to push the subject because they were very nice to me, and willing to renew the names with reimbursement from my PayPal account (instead of needing to put a credit card on file) which was my main concern/problem to begin with.

Send an email to support and tell them you must have the codes to transfer away. They don't want to lose your business, but they won't hold the domains hostage.

email gld and ask for the epp codes for each domain, they will then send you an annoying email asking why are you transfering your domains...

I would first send them an email and tell them not to email you back unless the epp codes are included in the email

Well if you live in the US remember they are located in India and your email will be sent while we sleep.

Well goodluckdomain's office is next street to my house........... :P. I just walk in. Register. Its very convenient!

Yes, I know thay are nice and in Chennai / Madras

But I use different Registrar.

What about com /org /net

Can I use there service and how much they charge for Registration. ( Reseller account)

The .com/.net are 500rs i think..............

I dont think they provide Reseller packages

to me it sounds like 'good luck with your domains' as in good luck getting them.
