Hi,

I have recently bought an aftermarket domain via Go-Daddy, within the first hour of purchase I paid the money and 8 days later it still has this message - "Funds received, authorization pending"

If I had purchased the domain from Sedo it would be in my account by now, why is Go-daddy so slow?

Thanks

Was this an expiring domain or closeout? They have to wait for the redemption period to end.

Thanks for your reply, It was one for sale, me and the seller agreed a price behind closed doors and the seller wanted to go through - go-daddy.

I then submitted the offer, the seller agreed and the deal was done. I submitted payment straight after and now 8 days later nothing is happening....

I have just submitted a ticket so hopefully something might get done, surely they don't have to hold the money for 14 days?

Godaddy always verify payment for 5 business days. If it was private seller, domain will be automatically moved to your account if domain under Godaddy.

The sellers domain is not based at go-daddy....

I don't think this time is excessive for Godaddy for a transaction like this, but it's always good to give them a reminder. The seller has to wait something like 45 days for their money, afaik.
