Having domain names and whois data in hands I'm doing some researches from time to time, for example, the last one is dedicated to numeric only domain names, there are nine millions of domain names that are “Just Numbers” https://domains-index.com/nine-millions-domain-names-just-numbers/ .
I already have some future plans on that one (get the list of zones, where most popular combinations are still unregistered for example) or, crawl 20-30 percent of websites, which are using numbers only as domain names, to figure out how many of them "just parked", used, what for and which language they using in average.
So guys if you have any Ideas of research you may want to have about domain names, registries, or whatever we can do, I'm ready to discuss/do it. The results and data obtained during any research will be published and available for download, as it was done in the previous one (you can download lists of numerics only domains from the article in our blog).
Also, I recently did analysis of filling ratios of traditional gTLDs https://domains-index.com/analyzing-fill-ratio-gtld-domain-zones/
