I want to register a few domains that are going to be expiring soon.
I want to know if one of the domains is on a register lock will I be able to backorder it?

Can I pay money, so that I can get it before someone can snatch it?

If the domain is deleted can you backorder it. So yes even that the domain now is locked will you still be able to back order it, but the domain might be renewed. If you want to get the domain before it goes back to the domain pool will you have to contact the current owner and try to buy the domain.

It would depend who you backorder it with as there are many companies doing backordering and also if anyone has backordered it, then you will have to bid for it. Good Luck :)

Hi,

Make sure you check the date as registrar lock can mean one of two things. Either it has expired but is within the month after that it remains with the registrar or the name has actually been locked.

If it is about to expire then you can play the lottery and put it on back order, in which case you will have to compete with a lot of other people. Or you can contact the present owner and offer to renew it with a premium on top to transfer the domain to you. This works well as long as they do not realise the value of the domain. The problem with this approach is that you might make them aware of the value of it :)

Basically pick your approach and hope :)

Wishing you all the best with them.

Lol, well the domain is worth a lot!
They will know the value of the domain.
