As the title suggests, Do your parents know your do stuff on the web etc. for you domainers and coders like me.

My parents do and they support me in doing it.

Does anyone have any cool stories to tell about telling their parents?

My parents are sometimes shocked at the deals I can make, but otherwise remain fairly oblivious.

Yeh same sorta thing with me.. I mean the money I get for coding things that sound simple to them.

My parents fully support me. But before my dad got all screwed over in his business (real estate) I was going to be making his site but sadly he got screwed over and i was no longer allowed to do it

I don't think that my parents believe my ability to make money off the internet - all deals I have made have been for free - since I can't set up a paypal account at the moment. They know that I'm good on a computer - whether they understand what I do, well tehy don't ask.

My dad never used to support it until he really understood the real potential of internet. He supported me when my first google check came. He was shocked but after that shock, he started supporting me. He now recommends me and gets me business. He even know my portfolio links.

My Mom is most supportive although she knows nothing about what I do.

My parents know what I do, but don't think I can do it. They have never seen any of the money that I make since it goes to paypal and then I spend it to make some more (or not). I would like to save up some and then buy something nice and have it delivered. That would be nice to see the look on their face!

both my parents know that I work online, but they don't understand what a domain and etc is. So they know what I do, they just don't understand what I do.

My parents know, i try to teach them PHP coding but nah, can't show em how it can help you to make money etc.

I learnt my dad how to cut in photoshop so i'm proud of him =] lol
My dad buys the domains so i can re-sell we do 80-20.. i get the 80 =D

Not only my parents knows, but my whole family do. They supported me now a days and encourage me especially my eldest brother.
