Hey Folks,

I just purchased a couple of domains from Namecheap.com which was really easy and cheap, but I read somewhere that I can't transfer until 60 days have passed.

Does that mean I should park the domains for 60 days or can I still offer them up for sale?

Your help is much appreciated :)

:hi:

No you can list your domains for sale.

If you sell a domain within the 60 day period, your Buyer would
create a NameCheap account and you would "push" the domain to
the Buyer's account.

It's very easy to do.

Patrick

P.S. You can park the domains at the same time you are listing them for
sale.

The 60 days is for transfering to another registrar.

I think it is only for if you want to transfer to another registar. I sell domains way before 60 days and just push the domain to there account.

Correct, you can push the domain to another account with the same registar for free the day you register the domain. Personally I prefer this because when you transfer the name to another registar it normally cost money while a push is free. Just make sure you inform the buyer that they wont be able to transfer the domain from the registar for a period of time to prevent problems after the sale. :)
