I think there are a lot of good names in here, but not necessarily "brandable". SitePrices, ReceiveLoans, PersonalTools, etc. were probably rejected simply because they are generic, not brandable. But I think you have a lot of good names here -- did you have to win bidding wars to get them?

Mix ) personaltools, generalinfo, noblemetal (many years ago), tastry - yes, there wer bidding wars )

SportHat - got lucky. SportHats got the war and price skyrocketed, while after few minutes SportHat slipped through the cracks ) I was trying to get both, but not ready to overpay.

AdOrbit is much better name than ZenOrbit, Uporbit and Everorbit

Ads do "rotate", Zens don't. Everybody uses ads and there hundreds of ad agencies looking for brandable name for their ad rotation solution. Who needs everorbit and uporbit?
It was probably rejected because it's way to specific. To make money in brandables the goal is to own names that have multiple applications in numerous types of business concepts. ZenOrbit, UpOrbit, and EverOrbit all meet that criteria.

Don't want to go into long argument, but still would point out that:

- Not all 22,000+ names on BB are multiple application and neither they should. Many businesses look to stress out in their name what they do. Hence the AdSense, AdRiver, AdAge, AdButler, AdMedia, BreezeAds, AdFox, AdWooz etc.

- And if Multiple application is of such an importance for BB and its clients, how is UpOrbit applicable to multiple business areas? Or ZenOrbit? Can't imagine a lawn maintenance company ZenOrbit...

How many lawn maintenance companies will pay your 2 grand for a random brandable name? Probably none. Multiple applications means multiple but obviously not for every single application will work for a specific name.

UpOrbit could be used for an ad agency, marketing, web design, graphics, wealth, design, fitness, airline, mobile etc......the name is not market specific so it could be used for multiple concepts. The more possibilities the name has the higher the chance you have of selling it.

edu vy dot com got rejected today. Not a huge surprise but thought it had a small chance. Only 5 letter handreg ok sounding name starting with edu as far as I could see. Oh well, $5.50.

Might submit to the other brand sites.

I was surprised that Plunny was rejected. I really like it because it sounds like 'plenty' and shares endings with funny, bunny, and sunny.

What makes BrandBucket the epitome in the brandable name marketplace anyway?

They sell the most domains. As far as I know.

Although brandroot ranks higher in search engines, I think the fact that brand bucket has been around for longer, they probably have more connections in the venture capital and startup world

@JudgeMind Hi, yeah I'm aware of that, but it's just that. They are a niche site
with a specific criteria.
There are many good names on BB, can't say the're all great, many overpriced.

Nice site and some good names.. Check your footer on mobile though. It's not responsive so the "Killerstartup" turns into "killers" which is a bit jarring!

I may open the site up as a place for others to list their rejected names at prices under $1,000, but still have some work to do. I just started building the site 15 hours ago

One accepted, one rejected today. I really liked my today rejection anyway, really thought it could make it:

-Fitnico.com

I have hopes to sell it at a reasonable price somewhere else.

There were 24 more rejected like Zyye, Toym, Ouuh. Buct is obviously a good name, and should have been selected. Maybe i submitted too many 4Letter at once.
