I get BB rejects too, but if anyone wants a second opinion, either before or after they've submitted names to BB, they can send me a private message with the domains they'd like to get feedback on. Cheers!

Not awful but I can understand the rejection, too.

For myself, if a word is made up and ends in -ly, I only take a chance buying it if it's 5L. Like Ticly or something, which might not even be that great of a word. But when you add another letter, I feel like the value of made up words that end in -ly falls off the cliff. What is TWIC?

PowerVida might be better because Vida means Life I think.

Momery -- is this a site for moms? When I first read it, I pronounced it mOAmery, with the big, open O sound. Only after did I realize it might have the root word "MOM".

-ery as a suffix I think denotes a "place of" or a "store" or something. But I have not had huge success submitting -ery words to BB so I pretty much have written them off now - not worth the gamble even at reg-fee.

Twicly .. twice - double

Momery .. typo of memory OR memory and mom together.

PowerVida might be better because Vida means Life I think.
it's via not vida

I know I'm not good at this, but I'll keep trying
at least I have 1 domain accepted .. Layouty

thanks for your feedback.

I think the reason they accepted other Orbit names like ZenOrbit, UpOrbit, EverOrbit etcโ€ฆ..is because there is a greater range of companies that these names could be applicable to. AdOrbit is fairly specific to Ads or Advertising.

AdOrbit is much better name than ZenOrbit, Uporbit and Everorbit

Ads do "rotate", Zens don't. Everybody uses ads and there hundreds of ad agencies looking for brandable name for their ad rotation solution. Who needs everorbit and uporbit?

Two of my best rejects that come to mind:

Juisy
Autonomize

Those two are fantastic! Can't believe they rejected Juisy! That is one juisy name ))

I've had Jam*Room rejected and accepted at Plenty of Brands.

I know but I was saying Vida might be a better choice, however neither PowerVida nor PowerVita are available.

If I were you, I would try to liquidate Twicly and PowerVia here on NP. And maybe Momery is worth listing on Sedo for $495 for a couple years before letting it expire. Just some thoughts -- I am fairly new to this, too.

Thanks. I was pretty stunned, too. Someone speculated that maybe it was too close to others' Juicy trademarks, but that doesn't totally make sense to me because Juicy is a fundamental word that I think would be problematic for a company to try to UDRP it, and Juisy itself has no trademarks on it IIRC. I bought it in an expired auction, maybe on SnapNames and I think I paid a couple hundred for it.

For now, I have both Juisy and Autonomize at Sedo. I definitely consider them good assets to own regardless of whether they are at BB or not.

Autonomy was the name of a software company that got bought by HP a few years ago for $10 billion. It turned into a disastrous acquisition, but still..

Got 3 accepted and 3 rejected, here are my rejects:

VividJet

Rosevia

I had faith in the first two, but it's ok. What do you think?

NobleMetal (I guess, they have no clue it means gold, platinum)

Why would you assume that? It doesn't "mean" gold, it is simply a type of metal of which gold is one choice. Osmium is another and still doesn't add anything. I can't see that name being used, regardless of what it means. IMO, you had better names on that list than this one, which I would have ranked towards the bottom.

I think there are a lot of good names in here, but not necessarily "brandable". SitePrices, ReceiveLoans, PersonalTools, etc. were probably rejected simply because they are generic, not brandable. But I think you have a lot of good names here -- did you have to win bidding wars to get them?

So, anyway, I submitted 190 names of the above quality and got only 17 admitted. I guess, it was not good strategy adding so many at the same time or there is no real system there and it is more like what editor feels like right now.
