DAN.COM (formerly known as Undeveloped.com) is on a path to be become the biggest domain marketplace in the world. We use state of the art technology to solve everyday problems buyers and sellers in the domain industry face. At DAN.COM we focus on automating most processes required to buy & sell domains to increase a more efficient and active secondary market for domains.

What sets us apart is our strong focus on product development and customer satisfaction. We leave nothing to chance and every single feature and element we introduce is professionally and carefully designed and built.

DAN.COM is ranked in the top 5 best-rated marketplaces in the world (According to the biggest review platform Trustpilot) and in the domain industry, we're the domain marketplace with the highest rating with an average of 9,4 out of 10 points.

At DAN.COM you will get the highest value for the lowest commission around. Due to our domain transfer automation, we can offer significantly faster handling of domain transactions and payouts (usually within 24 hours) at the lowest fee charged by any domain marketplace.

We've been the first on many fronts and proudly will continue to keep innovating. All green for me. Dubai as well. Try clearing your cache.
Yes. Up and running now. And seems faster than before. Was this as a result of upgrade? Then Dan should have informed us in advance.

@LaszloSchenk
I didn't receive any reply yesterday (Sunday).
I have received it just today (~15 minutes prior this post).

I use their LiveChat regularly to inform about BUGs and for suggestions...
This is not your problem.

And there was stated yesterday: reply under 10 minutes - but no any reply actually.

My expectations are not high, they fix issues/bugs for days in the best scenario, some features they implement even for years...

I just posted here about the misleading statement like reply under 10 minutes - it must be removed definitely when no any agents in their LiveChat.

From what I see, visitors on landers - also don't receive any replies on weekends in their LiveChat...
And again.
For those, who quote only what they use for their trolling.

1) to have EUR and € next to each other
is so stupid

( EUR €209 )
jesus.
why don't you ask a german consultant?

- should show 209 € -

2) "Zahlen Sie jetzt den vollen EUR "
I couldn't have thought of a worse sales pitch in my lifetime

at least it should show "die vollen EUR"
which is horrible to ask for " the full amount"

3) either use EUR or €
it is the same thing

4) two times "oder" in a sentence divided by commas is bad german

so the way to display that sentence should be
"zahlen Sie jetzt 2.500 €, wählen Sie Leasingkauf, oder unterbreiten Sie einen Preisvorschlag "

5) and again and again: there is no way to estimated the german VAT
that is the most exact number you could ever imagine

bad german is the most embarrassing issue
for a landing page

you f*ck up the most important part of the landing page
tested?
no way

any germans here to comment?

I totally agree with frank. I am native german too and the text translations need an upgrade to the correct german grammar. This is very necessary because it could scare some german buyers away as it looks a bit scamy and unserious with that texts/translations.

I tried reading the thread, but I either missed the answer or it wasn't there, but:

Has Dan gotten rid of standard Installment Payments and replaced it with Lease to Own?

I remember them "adding" Lease to Own early last year to the existing Installment Plan, but I cannot seem to find any way to enable Installments... has this option been deleted in Dan 2.0 or I am missing a setting?

And before anyone chimes in, these are two very different payment methods, in terms of cost, implementation, potential for brand damage, etc..

Yes, one of the previous three options seems to be gone.

In Dan 1.0 this was referred to as the "old model", I believe.

well... prev option was called old model.. upto 12mo instalment.

now it's gone but u can still give buyer 12mo no extra fee instalement.. under this lease.

so.its same thing.

Wow, more bad news, as I previously used Installment Payments, but was quite surprised to see "Lease to Own" plastered all over my listings, all without any notice of the changes.

Dan really needs to think about the repercussions of their beta testing in production, as I had no idea my Installments were now Lease to Own and there was no email or notification for this rather drastic change.

How is it the same thing?

Leasing gives the new "owner" effective control over the domain from Day 1, and some yahoo can get the domain blacklisted or do something to get a UDRP filed - imagine unethical front-runners taking a 1-month taste (on a 60-month plan) on a few premium domains?

it works same cause I just sold domain using it. the effect is identical to old model. which was max 12mo.

so if u pick max 12mo or less now..buyer pays no interest.. if longer then there is interest.

previously with old model installments buyer could modify DNs thru dan support..or forwarding.

should be same under lease now

however u have a point that strictly for wording.. installments vs lease is not same.

I asked dan about this b4..twice..they didnt bother to reply..instead I was told about case of.vinegar and read a rant to all about how it is the smaller volume sellers which talk the most. frankly..I hardly ever heard anything more unprofessional from company...

perhaps now dan can comment on this feature.

Yeah, I was just talking about that with someone else, but I believe when Dan first started it this apparently was a true installment plan, but it somehow morphed into a lease-like setup a bit later. I did not know about that.

So yes, if you limit it to only 12 months, it's the same as the updated Installment setup, but I really don't like the new "Lease to Own" name (it will bring the scammers and front-runners out of the woodwork) and the 60-month terms.

LOL - by answers like this you can really tell that Dan is run by male techies, and definitely not PR or marketing types.

well u know..its one option less in settings... and I'm fan of simplicity..so less clutter the better..

I guess now if we find lead for installment plan.we just gotta tell em to click on that 12mo lease to own tab.

well frankly I'm tired of arguing..its counterproductive... I just wanna see good working product for all. different owners have different personal approaches to clients. most would refrain from linking sales volume to comment volume.

cheers.

Anybody else seeing lots of failures submitting new names to their portfolio ?

Even if i add the 3rd dns entry it never seems to verify the name is mine and switches it to my portfolio.

I just had to do this today. After changing my Dns 1 & 2 from and Efty I realized..

Someone had my name listed in their portfolio.

After I added 3rd dns verify and waited about 30/60mins for it to propagate and checking Whois update.

I tried to manual add the name again It Worked.

It was already discussed a few weeks ago.
Use more reliable TXT method.

I added several domains today, and they're all appearing on parked pages that aren't secure (no https://). All of the older domains that were uploaded pre-DAN 2.0 are fine, and in the browser bar, it shows "https://" if you type in just the domain name.

I've even gotten a few error pages saying "Warning: this page is not secure," and the page wouldn't load until I hit refresh.

I apologize if this was something I missed in earlier discussions — but does anyone know why this is happening?

SSL certificates are not instant there.
They can take even a few days.

TLS certificates for newly added domains are not provisioned immediately, you have to wait some days. This has always been this way. Be sure to use Dan's nameservers.
