I’m repeating what we told you via support as well: if an integrator like DNWE, Efty or United Domains wants to use our API they have to submit an integration plan. Based on that plan and if your plan matches our API requirements we can grant you access to it.

If you do not wish to tell us for what exact purpose you want to use our API for then we simply cannot grant you access.

I told you in the message that I have my own website that I want to integrate a Buy-Now button with, and you responded with "Send us a 1 page integration proposal and we'll evaluate"

So on one hand we have @LaszloSchenk saying here that API is available to users:

You also mention absolutely NOTHING about Integration plan being a requirement, or that the API is currently closed on the DAN API page here: "To get access to the API the integrator needs to create a new account at DAN.COM. When you have saved your company and payout details are set, you can contact our support team so we'll be able to upgrade that account into an integrator account."

On the other hand you're telling me in a message that API integration is closed to public and needs to "fit your API objectives"

So maybe you should align on the communication strategy and the messaging you share with your users, before you start pulling things out of the hat, and then wondering why are your own users confused.

The fact that you're coming here saying that I'm refusing to tell you what the purpose is, as to flip this on me, is ridiculous.

I want to integrate a Buy-Now button

It's likely more subtile than that. For a buy now button, you don't need an integration with the "Integrator API", you just need the seller's API.
And this one is more accessible. Just ask for this one, and that way, you can access the price of any of your domains (or from the pool).
Then, server-side only (Don't disclose that key for your security!), you can get the buy-now price of the given domain.

Can someone please confirm this preferably from Dan?

Read on the forum that things were not rosy between Dan and Epik.

The average response time was within 15 minutes as well and no messages have been left unanswered. DANbot doesn't offer Epik push.

bad experience with dan

1 . i accepted sell certain domain on 9-march for 2kusd
2.. after 7-10days buyer not paid and not reply
3.. after some days broker indicate that buyer said
that if i could wait until 27march ...
4.. i said not problem i could to wait
until 27-28march (max)
5 ...that person not send payment again
6...i forgot about it i receive a lot of
Fake offers via dan (+100 unpaid)
7.. on 8 march broker leave other message
"buyer indicate that he could send the payment today"
i reply asking cancel it the deadline was 27-28
i not have the domain
but they ignore my messages...
8.. these guys have bad practices
keep open transactions with not payment sent
for long time....i had a transaction open
of a domain sold for around 2 months
despide i request close it for not payment

Pay attention that with names at Sav we still can't validate the transfer..
I transferred out a few out recently, no "transfer-out" notification received and they still show in my account.
So if you have to transfer a name out after a sale, you might have to ask their support unfortunately
