DAN.COM (formerly known as Undeveloped.com) is on a path to be become the biggest domain marketplace in the world. We use state of the art technology to solve everyday problems buyers and sellers in the domain industry face. At DAN.COM we focus on automating most processes required to buy & sell domains to increase a more efficient and active secondary market for domains.

What sets us apart is our strong focus on product development and customer satisfaction. We leave nothing to chance and every single feature and element we introduce is professionally and carefully designed and built.

DAN.COM is ranked in the top 5 best-rated marketplaces in the world (According to the biggest review platform Trustpilot) and in the domain industry, we're the domain marketplace with the highest rating with an average of 9,4 out of 10 points.

At DAN.COM you will get the highest value for the lowest commission around. Due to our domain transfer automation, we can offer significantly faster handling of domain transactions and payouts (usually within 24 hours) at the lowest fee charged by any domain marketplace.

We've been the first on many fronts and proudly will continue to keep innovating. We were the first to offer optimized for sale pages since 2013, the first to provide payment plans in the form of lease to own and rentals and also the first and only domain marketplace offering free SSL on all domains parked with us for over a year now.

That's right, he couldn't use his card on DAN, but your all approach is dumb.

My approach is to a problem which Dan doesn't admit/accept, and your approach of turning 360 degrees on your statement is poor show of ethics, on your part. *Slow Claps*

@DAN.COM

Will you guys be implementing a price upon request feature in the near future? I never really gave it much thought before but @Rick Schwartz is absolutely spot on with his recent Tweets regarding this.

If you want it right now - the so-called "Price Upon Request" is available via plain Contact Form at ParkingCrew...
I use it for many years... my primary method of sales.

I just got sale for first domain at Dan.
There is a notice at dan.com.
Important: don't change the domain ownership details while pushing the domain. This activates a 60-day lock which will prevent the buyer from being able to transfer the domain!

When pushing at namebright it has a checkbox "60-Day Lock Domain After Change" selected.
Do I disable that.

So disable this lock, deselect it.

@DAN.COM sometimes wire arrival takes 10 minutes, sometimes 1 day. You use two different accounts for payment. Why sometimes one account? (Faster) and then next time slower wire? Why not always the faster one?

Wire depends on bank hours, outside of this range - it will be sent next business day.

One more suggestion to your lander...
Please add Renewal indicator with just 2 values: Standard | Premium
So sellers will be able to set it accordingly.

It would be nice to have an api for adding/editing/deleting domains.

I wonder if it would be possible for a potential buyer to make an offer that consists of payment in installments?

I have BINs with Make Offer and installment plans on most of my domains, but if buyer wants to make an offer below my BIN, the installment option disappears, and they may not be aware it could still be available.

Maybe it will make things too complicated. Just wondering... Of course both parties can reach out to support to set up an installment plan, but this way it could be made more clear that it is an option for a negotiated price.

I do realise the need for this. I had one domain wherein the buyer made an offer. After negotiations, we settled down to a price lower than my BIN. While i was awaiting payment, DAN reached out to me and informed me that the buyer wishes to go for installment payments at the negotiated price.

I did agree and complete the sale with installment payment option below the BIN price.

You can

You can message them to say any price you agree with them can be done in installments - that can increase their offers. If you agree price then set to fixed price installments are automatically available. Otherwise you can message Dan.com to get them to convert an accepted offer to installments.

In any case it helps to tell buyers installments are available on offer prices.

Yes, that is the scenario I have also used once as well.

Yes, if I make a counter-offer, I normally inform the buyer that an installment plan is available. But I think it would be nice if a buyer could make an initial offer that includes payment in installments. Because buyers may think that installment plans are only available if they pay BIN and therefore maybe do not make an offer at all...

Hope it makes sense :)

Since yesterday I have moved my domains away from DAN
using my own Landing Page again.

lately, I had every little inquiries
and all of them extreme low ballers

yesterday I noticed that when using DAN
a lot of my traffic will be taken away from my domains
in order to search DAN's inventory
instead of my own domains

no idea if that changed lately
but I don't like it at all

when I send you my traffic
it's not because I want to promote DAN

I pay 9% commission in case of a sale
that's the compensation I accepted
for you offering a brilliant service

but my traffic is MY traffic
and meant to promote my domains
I ask you to be more respectful
and not highjacking it

there is no information about me as an owner
and there is no imprint ( Impressum )
means: legaly mandantory information about the owner of that domain

You are seeing the domain inside the marketplace, if you go direct linking a domain the layout is clean without any links

2 types of landers at DAN.
dan.com/buy-domain/example.tld?redirected=true
It loads the primary sales lander, without bolded part - their internal lander will be shown.
