yes by name=alphabet order
Good morning @YairDD,
Could you please check your listing now? The entire installment option was deactivated but I have enabled it for you. Just to be sure, I could only find BitcoinSwap.com which was altered.
Have a great day.
Just got an email : "per July 17th, 2020 the minimum listing price for domains offered at DAN.COM will be increased to $99."
just received from dan:
minimum listing price for domains offered at DAN.COM will be increased to $99.
Not happy with that. $99 is too much for a part of my domains.
that is ridiculously
I 've never made a sale below xxx
but I have more leads when "zero min" is set
so @Dan please rewind
Do you sell hundreds of domains per month ?
To succeed in, the right price must be for the right domain
but what are you asking?
I want them to redo that
I'm asking for ZERO min bid
oh,misunderstood maybe... what is ridiculous, to sell domains for less than 100 ? or to not give possibility to sell domains for less than 100 ?
to put pressure on customers
to act in a certain way
Announcing that kind of things a few hours before puting it in production is totally unprofessional.
We also dont know what is the minimum for portfolios in euros and gbp ?
I hate it
as I just found that I can get more leads that way
to install it in such a short timely manner
is strange can in vokes a few questions
@Dan why don't do put a low sale fee
instead of banning it?
it's a nightmare, it's in production now !!!
The api for setting up prices goes to an error, and they'll back tomorow.
Totally not professional !
i guess 99 min is dans way to reduce non payers.... bad idea. leave prices up to people
Is < $100 sale really worth manual processing? Time=Money. I'd say such domains can and should be sold exclusively with instant/fast transfer which is unavailable on Dan by design. So, it is not too practical to list cheap domains on DAN platform. The decision to set $100 min. is logical imo.
On many countries $100 is more than the average monthly salary. Whereas transfering a domain takes a few seconds with automation.
Be sure that if you let competitors coming, they'll come...
I understand this decision from Dan.com. Some domain extensions (for example .eu domain names) are first transferred to Dan.com after the sale. After this Dan.com gives a new transfer code to the buyer. This ensures that the transaction is completed quickly and that the seller is paid quickly. Dont forget that this costs money for the Dan.com to transfer the domain name to themselves first. Some people can also abuse this situation by buying their own domain names for $/€ 1 with another account and get their domain name extended for an extra year for free.
around 100$ is nothing in usa...and its everything in kenya or tons of places if dan wants to decide for their clients worldwide the value and worth of money thatll be just about the worst thing about dan in my and many people books...when yer literally taking food off table for some people...its a whole new game u play...and domains are very worldwide thing...affecting many people in many situations.
i guess those who like idea and dan liking it got so rich from domains they now spit on anything under 100$
maybe they shuld all visit some poorer countries.see what tons people need to do for 100$. now its clear such people never even cross their mind
its not at all about
selling for less than 100 whatever
a min price of 100 makes people bid 100
thats not the effect we want
Yes, indeed - $100 means a lot in poorer countries. No doubts. However, DAN is here to earn commissions. It is not obvious that the commissions from < $100 sales are worth human resources DAN has to dedicate to each sale (yes, there is a good level of automation, but still...). Human resources are always limited, so dealing with $100 sales may also (negatively) affect customer service for other sales. Moreover, nothing prevents domainers from "low GDP" countries from listing cheap domains with instant transfer platforms (registrar-affiliated) instead, these platforms will be happy to accept such listings - exactly because of delivery automation (not a DAN case).
Actually any domainer may have such listings, for example as soon as the domain is internally marked not-to-renew - then listing it for $50 or $100 is somewhat logical step, makes sense. I for example had such sales in instant delivery mode each time I decided to clean the portfolio
Sorry, I did not think about it (had only BIN sales in mind by some reason). Indeed, in makeoffer case, the buyer should be prompted to submit any (high) offer without showing him "min $100" text on this stage!
100% agree! If DAN mentions 100$ in any context on make ofer page - then this should be undone, and asap.
I agree with that. I experienced that at Sedo before using Dan.com/Undeveloped.
Yes, minimum is displayed for bidders... just hit "Send your offer" button (without any entered amount)...
My minimum is set to 247.
After this change - the lowest received bid was 300. Usually they start at 500 or 1,000.
And few times less fakes and time wasters.
Who looks for another solution - Epik doesn't leak your minimum.
Bidder gets: Your offer might be too low
And 50 domains x $50 each = it is the same volume as to sell 1 domain for $2,500.
So what sense in this model???
not sure epik is good worldwide. The process of opening an account, etc... is much more complicated than dan.
It would be nice if dan let us domains from 50. I have many sales between 50 and 100.
For my portfolio in euros the minimum is not 100usd, it's 100euros, so about 114usd.
paypal could work but not for all countries and buyers protection would be agzinst seller.
sedo will be an alternative.
do you know another ?
