There doesn't seem to be a thread for discussing "crowd" domain names. Crowdfunding and Crowdsoucing are big these days. My crowd names;

CrowdTranslate.com
CrowdEdit.com

I'm sure a lot of other members have "crowd" domains. Feel free to share domains, sales, thoughts, etc.

I don't know if you realize this or not but some momentous changes in the crowdfunding field just took place. A new law was passed a few years ago called the JOBS Act and, well, you know the red tape in DC delayed it's implementation for years but as of May 2016 it has been finalized by the SEC so it has just come into effect a couple months ago.

This is a broad jobs bill but the relevant sections will now allow for ordinary people to invest in startup companies wheras before they were legally barred from doing so. Remember how ppl would fund some kickstarter campaign for something like Occulus Rift and the companies 'angel' investors and VC firms rake in Millions while the average ppl that funded it from the beginning get a lousy t-shirt? No more. Now even regular everyday people will be able to invest. It's called 'Equity Crowdfunding' and it's going to be HUGE. Think of all those people who formerly got a stupd t-shirt but will now be able to recieve an equity share in the next Facebook or Amazon, Apple etc.

When I heard about this months ago I snapped up equitycrowdfund.org - I usually dont like .org domains but in this case I made an exception as it's a direct keyword match.

This new field of investing has unlimited potential too because people are not just restricted to stocks and equities but can invest in municipal bonds as well. So imagine a city like Detroit where it's gone bankrupt. Bond crowdfunding can be done for those cities just like buying stocks, so instead of everyone starting gofundme pages for water which earns no return and the water is just a temporary fix but the underlying problems still remain. Now someone can start a bond crowdfunding program for instance a new water treatment plant for Detroit and do it for goodwill, but will also earn a return on their investment. Luckilly, I also managed to snap up Bondcrowdfunding.com :) which is a major coup. Also registered CrowdfundingDot.com which is a nice general brandable.

Good luck with your domains. I really think this is the next wave of democratized investment, nearly equal to, if not better than the development of the internet in terms of the average person to strike it rich, or at least getca very big return so this space has nearly unlimited potential. Regards.
