I recently bought a domain (plus the extensions to redirect to the .com) via godaddy that I had EVERY intention of getting a website for it up and running, but that is out of the question at this point. I have my hands full with other projects. Now I am considering selling the domains but not too sure if that's the best route I should take. I am not looking to make money off these domains, as that was never my intention in the first place. However, it would be nice to get back what I paid for the domains. I know, that probably won't happen...but it's worth a shot.

My question is this, can I list a domain for sale on more than one website? Godaddy has an auctions section on their website that I am considering, but I am curious if I can find other sites that I can list my domain on as well? I honestly just want to sell them pretty quickly.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)

You can list the names for sale anywhere you want, just be sure to unlist them at all sites once sold. A good start would be in this forums for sale section if you're looking to get at least reg fee.

My personal opinion is if it isn't to make money, to keep the domains. You may find the time in the future to kick up the project again.
I frequently purchase domains to use later...sometimes months later. Once it's gone, you can't get it back. And if you are selling it for a profit, then it's a waste.

If we are talking about TLD's that cost around $10-$12 to register, for me, a $10 sale of a couple of domains to break even is not worth waking up in the morning to check my email. It's worth far more to have that domain in my arsenal for future projects (or future sale for profit) that can make actual money.

"You can list the names for sale anywhere you want..."

But be sure you don't list a domain as "Buy It Now" at more than one site if you pick that option.
