Competition on Afternic selling names..

I have some names on afternic for sale and the competition is rough.....I tried to lower the reserve price on some of my names hoping to get an edge on the competition. Do any of you guys agree that is a good idea....and if you have sold names on afternic how long doews it take on average? I know that the name makes a difference, but just give me an average. Thanks.
