Say you have a good domain, with a very well-defined possible end-users, like idahopotato.com.
Is it best to always contact president/CEO, even though you may always have to leave messages.
Or should I contact marketing VP, or what department is typically the best starting point for a phone conversation?

Go straight to the big boys, but you had better be prepared to eloquently state your case.

If you need a sample presentation, let me know.

Thanks,

Lexisdomains - i'd very much like to see a copy of your script - mine needs honing - in fact i'd be pushed to call it a script.

Definetly as high as you can get :)

You'd be surprised how little the marketing department knows about the value of a domain, not saying the ceo will either but theres more chance.

99.9% of most marketing department workers dont follow anything to do with domains sales/prises. here 9-5 and thats it :)

Request for Full-Disclosure Proposal

Thanks all.

A Sample Domain Proposal is forthcoming as I usually provide a "full-disclosure proposal" which include schematics, charts & name value factors, revenue statements, etc.

But because almost all scripts are custom per each domain, I had to revise and remove "intellectual information".

If you are interested in the professional version of my proposal, please visit the Service Thread for more info.

For "free preliminary version (Pg 1&2 only), please PM.
