It was just announced by the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) that on June 12, 2012, they will be performing a system upgrade to the .CA registry. This upgrade, known as a “middleware implementation” will make it easier for domain registrars such as GoDaddy and Network Solutions to work with CIRA, they say. In order to successfully complete the upgrade, there will be a 24 hour service outage from 9:00 a.m. (ET) on June 12 to 9:00 a.m. (ET) on June 13.
