.US domains.US domains
I know of an unreported .fr sale that would be in #3 position, and a second .fr sale that would be in the 21st position. Lots more in the $10k and under slots too.

yep - the biggest deal in the Indian market was not made official to DNJournal. Searching.in would have made it in at #25. Theres another sale of a similar size about to close at Sedo.

Thanks for the post. Very interesting. I'd expect to see .us fairing better in 2007 than it did in 2006.

I'm surprised that .US didn't have very many in the top 100 ccTLD sales. With the growing acceptance, I expected more large .US buys. Perhaps this year will fair better for .US. Or maybe I'm too optimistic :P

I know of dozens of £xx,xxx sales in .co.uk that have been unreported in 2006 - and one that is in the £xxx, xxx range .

bearing in mind £1 = $2 it makes the comparison even more impressive :)

.co.uk is very strong, but it is the british reserve keeping things quiet I think! The other bonus is that there is lots of room for value still to be had.

Lets hope .vc, and .vg make that list next year!

There are many sales of course that don't get reported to DNJournal. I would estimate 2 to 3 times as many sales occur between private parties.
