Also, how long did it take to sell once being accepted to BrandBucket?

if you're referring to my post, I came up with it based on the word 'Fort" which has a meaning in both French & English, has an Italian feel to it and is radio-friendly with strong letters..

(they don't do this in general, but they had refused it about a year ago when their parameters for acceptance was imo a bit out of touch with reality.. therefore when they were accepting a more wide variety of names I asked them to reconsider.. and they did to both our benefits! )

it sold within 3-4 months

I remember "data" was an auction on Pheenix, and then "outdoors" was maybe a GD auction. I think the other ones were dropcatches, handregs, or GD closeout names.

If it makes you feel any better, I am sure there are names you beat me on and have sold!

I'm far from a BrandBucket expert, but I would respectfully agree that CyberJoin is not a good fit for BrandBucket. Maybe you can give this thread a better example of a rejected domain.

I had a several new ones accepted, but I got a bulk list all rejected, in which there was some extremely brandable ones!

anyways.. they'll end up on my own site which I'm working on for my portfolio

Given the cyber domains BrandBucket has accepted, I can understand your frustration. But just because they accepted a "crappier" domain, doesn't need they need to add more "crappier" domains to their portfolio. Their cyber portfolio is probably full. Don't hate the domain, hate the market.

No offence taken, totally agree on this.
I'm not even saying that I actually like cyberjoin, only that it's better than some of the domains I see accepted.

Also, I totally respect BrandBucket's business, it's their store and they can do whatever they like with it. After all what matters in the of the day is what sells, right?
