sold my first domain recently. Only 19 domains listed. It took me 6 months since my first submission. This particular domain took only 2 months to sell.

Congratulations!!!

Ability to delist / relist domains without contacting someone would be nice. Removing forward is not working any more.

So if, after, lets say 2 months of no bites, can you take your name off their system for non-performance reasons?

My newly added domains at BrandBucket have status 'pending review' for 22 days now.

Submitted another three in the last few days. I have a good feeling about two of those three.

Had one accepted about a month ago that I mentioned in a previous post, but didn't list it until today because of the listing fee. Thanks to @JudgeMind for the voting tip though - just submitted it for free after doing some more votes.

Some of mine took almost two months to get looked at - just gotta be patient. Namerific are much faster but their website is down at the moment because of some upgrades they're doing.

Congrats Michael. Out of curiosity, have you noticed any similarities or trends in the names you've sold? Like some are more likely to end in 'ly' or anything like that?

Thanks!

It's tough to say if anything is a trend because of the small sample size, but I have sold a few fitness/activity related names lately.

While you guys are waiting to see if your domains get accepted at BB, do you keep them listed for sale elsewhere?

I was wondering if having them listed elsewhere could be a turn-off to BB (because they want exclusivity once a domain is accepted).

I list them at GD, DNS, Sedo etc.. whilst waiting for approval or otherwise from the 3 boutiques, if approved at BB or BR I remove

Of course list else where! Why would you wait 6 weeks to hear back. Its only exclusive if its LISTED on BB. A turn off to BB? They are not gonna turn down a good name just because they see it listed somewhere else!

They have an automatic search, that searches for BB LISTED domains else where, if they find your LISTED domain else where they will send you a warning email reminding you of your contract. If you fail to listen they will remove your LISTED name.

Its that simple.

Very disappointment in Brand Bucket, i waited 26 days for 2 of my names to be approved, waited an additional 13 days for logo designs, now my names are apparently live and listed but nowhere to be be found on pages 1 - 5.... would only make sense to have my newly listed domains appear on the first page, that's where buyers will be looking first. Not to mention that i ave an additional 9 names still waiting for logos after 13 days and still have 60 domains in que for approval.

Change the sort order from "staff picks" to "date" .

Thanks, but i don't think its right that they have it automatically switched to staff picks, most of those names are probably owned by them. How will our names sell if nobody sees them? I tried their search, i have a name listed (pinama .com) you would think that a buyer typing in "Pin" in the search would find my name? No

I agree with you, but that's been set as the default for months now.

I got 5 of 10 approved last I sent them names and 4 of them ended up as a staff pick, so it is not only their own names they pick

It's been like this for ages. Staff picks are not all owned by BB. I do agree that the current way of listing names is far from transparent but they seem to be testing out how different rankings effect sales. Their search feature has always been pretty bad as it doesn't pick up part of the name as per your example.

The last two names I've sold through BB was SureWorth and MassVenture and they were not staff picks, but buyers found them anyway
