A friend of mine bought an Expired Domain with a PR5 and uploaded
some articles with adsense ads. In 3 or 5 days had a 300%+ CTR and
a few days later, got banned from adsense (he thinks that CTR comes
from the previos owner).

Anyway, Just like a Pool...

In your opinion...which strategy could be better (and less risky) for
your Expired Domains?

1. Develop that High PR Domain (so don´t loose PR) & Place Adsense.
2. Develop and use Pay Per Action (if it´s a profitable niche).
3. DNS Parking.
4. Sell It

by risky i mean: a) Don´t get dropped from Adsense b) Don´t loose PR

First off developing a dropped pr domain has ZERO guarantee that it will keep any PR. Unless you are going to exactly copy the old site, chances are the PR will disappear. And beyond that, if it did drop with a website before there was probably a good reason - like no traffic, was banned etc.

Sounds like an unusual example. Might have been a spider of some kind hitting the site, but I would definately be concerned by any site getting significant traffic and a 300% CTR. Keep an eye on your stats, esp. with new expired names.

Parking for me

google pr is based partly on content and partly on inbound links so if your heavy
on inbound links you get PR even with low content.

google are trying to stop made for adsense sites so I've stopped all mine as I think they ban your adsense account.

For me I'm parking with Sedo as google have a contract with them so you can get your income without getting banned.

When I find a domain I like I'm building it up with affiliate stuff but I'm a noob at this but all is going nicely. ;)

Hmm, this is an interesting point you have brought up. It could be true that the previous owner may out of spite attempt to attack your friends Adsense account...

Did your friend contact Google to explain and did he use any Adsense tracker (permitted)? Using a tracker, maybe its easier to see if the 300 CTR is from the same surfer....

Anyway, your friends case is an important thing to note.

He didn´t use a tracker, but yes...i think it´s an important thing to note
if you don´t want problems with your adsense account.
