advice Bought a domain off of expired domains and when I type in the domain to the URL

Instead of it showing up as a parked webpage with GoDaddy (the registrar) as it usually does with my non hosted domains, it shows "website coming soon". Why is this? Is it because it was only a day or 2 old on expired domains?

If the domain is from Godaddys partner it will be whatever DNS they use.
Another possibility is that the owner renewed/transferred out the domain. In this case the owners dns will be used.

You can check Whois record to see which registrar has this domain and what DNS sever is being used.
