.mobi Booking hotels via mobile phones

Thinking of my next development project to get underway i would like to get a site up and running to check availability and to reserve hotel rooms online via your mobile/pda. Which name do you think would be the best for the job?

Reserved.mobi (Nice and short and memorible)
Hotelbooker.mobi (Straight to the point)
Roombooking.mobi (Could be a little difficult to remember?)

Your input would be gratefully accepted. Although i'm already swaying towards Reserved.mobi

to me, reserved.mobi doesn't really equate to hotel reservations, i would expect a site that would show / discuss the reserved dot mobi domains (but then again we are domainers here). obvioulsy reserve.mobi would work awesome, reservation.mobi, reservations.mobi, reserver.mobi or even reserving.mobi - of all of them reserved.mobi would be my last choice, but with all that said - it still could work.

of the 3, i think hotelbooker would make the most sense for this application .. good luck with whichever you choose.

I prefer Hotelbooker.mobi to booking a hotel.

BTW, I think my iOrder.mobi is suitable for this subject

You would want reserving.mobi or reserver.mobi over reserved?

In my opinion the former two are much worse from a branding perspective.

Of the three domains you are speculating against I would definately choose reserved.mobi. Reserved.mobi could easily be used in ad copy, and marketing promotion. For example: Your room has been Reserved(logo).

It would be quite easy to use that domain in the ad copy.

Hotelbooker and roombooking are what is called common names. Although they are to the point and explain what you are going to get as soon as you here the name they are harder to remember. Reserved is slightly more out of the box, and can be attributed as a proper name which are better for the web.

The jobs market isnt dominated online by getjob.com or applyjob.com or jobs.com or job.com or justjobs.com or myjob.com or anything else its dominated by monster.

Look at Dating:

Dating is not dominated by dating.com or singles.com but by match.com a think outside the box proper name.

Proper names are better.

Look at travel:

Its not travel.com or rooms.com or destination.com its dominated by Expedia.com with a proper name

But what about hotels.com? Well they had a huge amount of money invested, and have been emblazoned into our heads, but overall when you look at the big picture they were aquired by expedia. So who is top dog? Expedia - proper name.

i think reserved is best as it doesn't limit you to hotels.
hotelbooker is great for just hotels.
reserved leaves you the option to expand to rooms, b&b, hostels, theatre seats etc

Thanks for everyones input to this thread, there's a few arguements for and against my fave one reserved.mobi, but still haven't got my mind totally set straight! Anyone else with any input to the topic??

reserved.mobi is my favourite thus far, with the name lending itself to a certain credibility that its an established site that can be relied upon to deliver, and you could tie it into recommended restaurants as well. Good luck with it

Seriously though, you can only book your travel by calling them at the moment. But we are working hard to integrate our site with booking engine, so you should be able book your hotel online with your mobile phone in two or three months.

i would develop reserved

but i would develop it as a site for luxury travel, hotels, resorts, expeditions, anything that is targeted at the wealthy

i think really rich people like the idea that all the good stuff is "reserved" for them :bingo:

Great looking site. I am sure WCT will be working with you (and other people) to facilitate the actual availability, rate search, and actual booking online via mobile-sized screens. ORBITZ already has this capability, so I am sure Travelocity won't let them get (and stay very far ahead). WTG!
