Global hotel chain Marriott has launched a mobile Internet version of its website at Marriott.mobi in order to help boost business from mobile customers.

dotMobi, the Internet domain name created for mobile phones, said the new Marriott site allows users to locate hotels around the world and make reservations from their handheld device. It claimed Marriott is one of many hotel, leisure and travel-related companies which have launched .mobi sites in order to boost business opportunities.
