Hi Bodis staff,
I have a question I thought you could help me with. My domain seexl (in the dot of com) is registered in your system as non-adult but receives (only) adult traffic from Arabian countries. I've looked up the words in an online translator and they are definitely adult.
I've written to Bodis many times and asked to have the domain re-classified but to no avail. My first contact about this was Aug 11 2012.
Aug 18 Me: Reminder.
Aug 20 Yue Li: I have forwarded your request to the upstream provider. Please be patient.
Jan 30 2013 Me: Reminder.
Feb 5 Me: New reminder. Why do you not respond to emails?
Feb 5 Yue Li: The upstream provider wants to know why you classify this domain as adult.
Feb 8 Me: Because it receives adult traffic.
Feb 12 Me: Reminder.
Feb 13 Me: New reminder.
Feb 13 Yue Li: I have forwarded your request to the upstream provider. Please be patient.
Feb 13 Me: For how long do you think I should be patient?
Feb 14 Yue Li: We send a domain reclassification list to our upstream provider on 1st of every month. Please be patient.
Apr 21 Me: I am still waiting for you to classify this domain as adult. Have I been patient long enough now?
Apr 22 Yue Li: We have sent the request to our upstream provider. However, they don't allow user-defined classification anymore. Domains have to be classified by the system automatically.
Current status: Still no change. The domain receives only adult traffic from the Middle East and all the ads displayed on it are completely unrelated. Previously, while you had templates, I tried to counteract the wrong classification by using the dating template so it looked slightly more relevant, but now I cannot even do that anymore. My bet is this domain would have performed at least twice as well with relevant ads on it. (I also think the response time in this case was slightly amiss..)
Apologies for any issues today.
It's not 100% down, just down a percentage of the time / certain users. Since the network is in DDOS mode it is filtering a lot of traffic, sometimes valid. Getting hit from servers in Vegas. What a surprise considering I just came back from there.
Still working on it, and will get back to other posts later tonight. Thanks..
Havela: Just wanted to chime in and say we are going to add back the inquiry feature later this week for existing members so that they can choose between inquiry/BIN. There's been a lot of user feedback that requested it back, so we'll add it back in.
Bodis can't do anything for you. Try Voodoo. they still allow keywords. Sometimes they work.
Have you activated this feature yet? As far as I can tell I now have to choose between either not putting my domains "on the market" (i.e. no sales banner or inquiry form) or give them a fixed price. I see no option where I can put the domains up for sale without a fixed price?

I've tried voodoo now and again, but their ppc is much lower, at least with respect to my domains. As an example, all clicks yesterday yielded $0.01, and the same domains on Bodis typically get at least $0.10 per click.
It's too bad. I really prefer the variety of choice in Voodoo; that you can phrase your sales banner as you see fit, that you can include search words, etc, but my domains perform much worse there. I guess it depends on each portfolio, as I see many are very happy with Voodoo.
Updated:
A good example: The past two days for my domain seexl, which is a steady little performer: Yesterday on Voodoo: 1 click -> $0.01. Today on Bodis: 2 clicks -> $0.40. So even with a more relevant template and targeted search words, Voodoo gives a poorer result. This is the tendency across my portfolio over the past year.
I have strange situation with Bodis.com escrow, hope this is a right place to discuss the same.. I have agreed a sale offline with my domain buyer and requested him to process the payment to Bodis.com escrow. Buyer has completed the payment yesterday, its almost 24 hours from now and Bodis has not confirmed the payment process. Buyer has sent me an automated email received from bodis.com confirming the payment processing.. Is some thing i am missing here? I have a feeling that bodis is not ready for escrow transactions or could be one of issue.. Appreciate the expert views here.
Which kind of traffic do you have?
In past I had great result with bodis.. But nowadays i have voodoo or DS best..
I have mainly US traffic..

Matt Wegrzyn said:However, we also give an option for the user to set an inquiry form if they do not wish to use our “marketplace & escrow process”.
will bodis initiates transfer when auth code of sold domain in marketplace given ? or the buyer initiates the transfer
Bodis.com is really to people? can you show payment proof?
How did we know our domain traffics details with Bodis.com?
Do you have analyzer technology as like google analytics? Answer?
