OK. In Chrome I can see the page. In FireFox, I'm using Ghostery. Is that the one blocking the page? I don't see anything else even close to an Ad Blocker. It is all domains

BTW. Have you deleted all my old domains yet? I want to edit my domains, but it's too hard with so many old domains in there.

You know what i would like to see. I have around a thousand domains at bodis and drop the non money makers and am constantly adding new ones every month. I would like to see an android mobile app for bodis parking. That would be amazing for me..lol

dom sorry that you're experiencing an issue, however I did ask you to provide details and you haven't done so. So I don't know what the issue is that you're experiencing and can't help you unless you tell me exactly what the issue is in greater detail. Then I can definitely try an help you solve it as quickly and as painlessly as possible.


As far as an Android app - we did once develop one that had nothing more than reporting which was only the total revenue on a daily basis for the last 7 days. It was very empty and a quick test. At the end I decided not to release it because it was just not good enough and put together by an Odesk developer that really sucked.

Maybe we will release an app soon, but if we do then I will make sure it's darn good. Also our developer is a web guy not an app guy, and same thing for myself, so we'll likely first have to look around for a good permanent app developer before we do anything.

Other than reporting, anything else you'd want to see in an app?

As far as the hover, that would likely be your browser cache. We thought we'd have it fixed by this version but apparently still happening a small % of the time. Try a different browser or clearing your browser cache. I know it sucks but by our next major update I'm hoping it will get fixed for sure. The reason is because CSS background images were cached and we forgot to take that into consideration.

Hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) helped to fix that. Thanks!

And as far as everyone complaining about new features and threatening to move there domains. come on people grow up. You would think by now you would know new features to anything always have kinks to be worked out. just sit tight everything is going to be ok. let them do there job and remember more features makes it better for all of us.

Hello Matt,

I got my account suspended by BODIS. I found this message: "Your account has been temporarily suspended. Please contact support"
I don't know why it happened to my account. I am totally sure that the traffic is qualified enough and naturally come from search engine. It is a bit disappointing since Bodis system did not give any alerts regarding with issue. I was not told clearly about the issues of my account.
Please kindly check it and clarify it. And I hope you can reactivate my account.

I see drop in revenue on Bodis during this month. My CTR was about 12%, now it's 8%. I think this happens because the old templates were removed. Now I have only one template, which works very bad. My revenue is less than I ever had on Bodis. What is your experience of the new template? Do you see ups or downs in revenue?

Same here. I too miss having the ability to choose templates. It was one of the things I really liked about Bodis.

A real shame that the upstream provider did not approve of the new templates. Are there any plans in the works to introduce a variety of templates again?

Regarding "Our upstream provider has lately made a case that all templates should be simple (no theme based such as "fashion"/"clothing" because they are using behavioural/interest based ads more and more). And those types of ads on a template that has nothing to do with the ads just makes no
sense" (quote end):

If the domain is marked as adult by an upstream provider, then there would be adult ads only. No behavioural optimisation. No unrelated ads. "Adult" visitor will recieve adult ads. So, there should be nothing preventing Bodis from returning at least adult templates? Matt, please correct if I'm wrong...

Thanks. I just belatedly checked I got several payments . I don't care about templates. I see ecpm stays the same or higher. Who cares? Not like I can choose templates for 1500 domains anyway.

Just a humble request from a long time Bodis user. In the form when the user inquires about a domain name and we get emailed about it. will be possible to add back the IP and User-Agent like it previously was.

Lack of these is akin to driving blind.

The new Bodis is great and I love where it is going with the domain market place.
The only issue I have had is how to get into the marketplace?

What I mean is, you can enter a specific search or click on one of the 5 featured domains to see your resault, however you cant just go in and browse the market place from a single button. Eg. " Visit MarketPlace".

From what I have found is that you have to, "Take a Tour" then select "Buying Domains" then select "Find Domains".

Am I missing something? I really found this confusing and I think a great Idea would be to have a direct link to the "Market Place".

Hope this makes sense?


PS, How good would it be to have a traffic stat next to the domain for sale!

I have a question I thought you could help me with. My domain seexl (in the dot of com) is registered in your system as non-adult but receives (only) adult traffic from Arabian countries. I've looked up the words in an online translator and they are definitely adult.

I've written to Bodis many times and asked to have the domain re-classified but to no avail. My first contact about this was Aug 11 2012.
Aug 18 Me: Reminder.
Aug 20 Yue Li: I have forwarded your request to the upstream provider. Please be patient.
Jan 30 2013 Me: Reminder.
Feb 5 Me: New reminder. Why do you not respond to emails?
Feb 5 Yue Li: The upstream provider wants to know why you classify this domain as adult.
Feb 8 Me: Because it receives adult traffic.
Feb 12 Me: Reminder.
Feb 13 Me: New reminder.
Feb 13 Yue Li: I have forwarded your request to the upstream provider. Please be patient.
Feb 13 Me: For how long do you think I should be patient?
Feb 14 Yue Li: We send a domain reclassification list to our upstream provider on 1st of every month. Please be patient.
Apr 21 Me: I am still waiting for you to classify this domain as adult. Have I been patient long enough now?
Apr 22 Yue Li: We have sent the request to our upstream provider. However, they don't allow user-defined classification anymore. Domains have to be classified by the system automatically.

Current status: Still no change. The domain receives only adult traffic from the Middle East and all the ads displayed on it are completely unrelated. Previously, while you had templates, I tried to counteract the wrong classification by using the dating template so it looked slightly more relevant, but now I cannot even do that anymore. My bet is this domain would have performed at least twice as well with relevant ads on it. (I also think the response time in this case was slightly amiss..)
