I don't know how your account really looked like compared to elsewhere, but I can try to figure out how to improve it if you really think it's that bad. All the old users are on the 100% rev share as started, we actually lose money there, I haven't ever changed it. Most of our users however are newer and those are on 80% unless we raised it. Our average is somewhere in the 90% and I wish we can collect serious dough but we have competitors to beat.

Also keep in mind that's a % before any expenses/overhead.

I'm more focused on giving you guys a good product/service and with lots of changes coming I hope I can deliver it.

How do you check if your account is the old or new "account %". I think I have an a account somewhere...

Will try and move some low RPM domains from SedoPro and compare.

PayPal has never suspended us, but we get limited by them almost every month. They usually ask the same information over and over. I've spoke to other companies in the industry, and it seems to be common for everyone.

Others, such as Internetbs.net, were not so lucky, as they were suspended permanently for probably nothing of their fault.

Hi Matt..Newbie to domains. I was suspended by PP for 9 month when I was selling check guarantee to merchants. I WASN'T guaranteeing the checks(dud!), I was using PP to accept the set up fee(my commission). It took them 9 months to get it through their thick brain what I was doing. I have a feeling these people are all located in India where NO ONE knows what check guarantee is. I FINALLY got it back when I threatened a call from my attorney. They DO ASK the same damn questions multiple times which gets very annoying.

serryjw, I feel your pain. PayPal makes terrible decisions. They've improved since the old times but still far away from ideal.

Another issue is, if we're sending to hundreds or thousands of users, you'd think they'd want to at least put us up in the queue or assign an account manager or something. Instead if something happens we'd end up waiting days for a resolution.

That's why now we make sure we have funds at all times and a plan B if anything were to go wrong.

Here's a funny story. PayPal approved us for 2 business accounts. Typically a user is allowed only 1 business account unless they receive "management" approval. So we received this approval. Same business. Our first account has an approved credit card merchant account. Our second account was denied for this same business same type of merchant account.

They are not only unwilling to give us another attempt at applying, but also unwilling to provide a reason why we were denied.

Keep in mind, same exact business.

I don't think they know themselves, and I find it a bit uneasy to do so many payouts each month and not have any account manager or representative assigned to us. Each time we talk to someone else and they never include their name in the email nor have a direct email.

It's unbelievable..

Well, I can shed some light on this. Have you ever had a clawback form Bodis before?

Bodis pay's what you see. If google does a clawback he eats the lost revenue and not you. So I can understand why he doesnt pay as much since the risk is greater on his end.

The charge backs we don't pass onto users if they are small/insignificant compared to the revenue generated. So we use our net profit to pay for some of these chargebacks. If the user has a large chargeback (let's say 50%+ of revenue, we'd manually pass it on. But typically a user that receives a large charge back results in a suspension. We have a cut off.

In the future we'll be passing it on to the user in an online interface. Most users don't get charge backs so it's not a big issue currently.

Do you mean, do we payout via Payoneer? Currently we do not. Only the following:

  • PayPal
  • Direct Deposit (US Only)
  • Wire Transfer

We want to go after a few other payment options such as AliPay, and even return Check as an option down the road.
