As phowell23 pointed out. You cannot set the domain keywords anymore. The reason is Google now decide which keywords to use for each domain. It's the same for every Google feed.

Yes we have to edit the header to not mention keywords. We don't support user-defined keywords anymore due to upstream provider instructions. However do not worry - there isn't a loss in revenue, the change was made months ago, except our UI hasn't reflected it until recently.

And Webmoney is the best payment method for Russia! Because we are limited in using PayPal: we are able to receive money to our paypal account, we are able to pay via paypal in the internet, but we are not allowed to send money to our bank account in Russia. There is no any legal exchange for paypal money, so it is very hard to transfer revenue from paypal to debit card. Namedrive is already using Webmoney and many Russian domainers are happy! So, think about adding Webmoney as payment method!

I just started moving some of my domain names to Bodis and am wondering how long it takes to get a good, relevant landing page. Also, all mine, so far, have just the picture of the blonde that should be replaced and wonder how long she stays on the pages. Is it because it's a Chinese program does that explain why words are run together without spaces when called for?

Anyway, here is my Santa gifts list Matt:
1. API to test if domain is naughty or nice :D
2. Folders to put the right domains on the right bag
3. Domain traffic change alert, perhaps domains with the biggest up and down traffic seen by percentage or dollar. This one is luxury I guess
4. Tags. One domain can have several tags. The tags could be by where I host the domains, when I bought the domains, etc. So when I change things I know what's work and what's doesn't.
5. Account managers Like in the late parked.com for minor questions unworthy of Matt's time.
6. Email alert if a domain lose it's google feed status. That means we can examine what's wrong and get alerted on time.

Matt, is there a way to quickly check if the domain is (mis)classified as adult by G? Perferably using the api request through browser window, similar to already existing api to check if it is monetised by primary or secondady provider?

Also, what happens with the domains classified by G as "needs review" - those show secondary provider I beleive, but is there chance for this mystical review to be positively completed (or expedited)? Also, any api opportunities to pre-check if the domain name is in this status?

I second that. I wonder if domains that once "banned" by google feed may one day be accepted again. After all conversion tend to fluctuates. Maybe google test that for a while.

That would be nice...the problem is that Google basically controls the internet...they can ban anything they want for whatever reason they want.
...
But Matt is constantly bringing in some nice new secondary providers. :tu:

Secondary providers are really good compared to G, and sometimes outperform it depending on the domain name.

The reason I don't want to add the feature to show if a domain is banned by G or not is because of a few reasons, most noteably:

a. Secondary providers do really well on the zeroclick setup where we just redirect to the advertiser (many times outperforming G).

b. Most in the industry talk and agree that G seems to be losing its footing just like Yahoo in the early days and I don't expect them to be a major player in 2-3 years, unless they change with the times - radically.

c. People think that if a domain is banned they need to move it out of Bodis. Which is untrue because we monetize banned names well, so it's bad for our business.


So this is the reason I by default don't display if banned or not. Mostly because I'm thinking ahead and something is telling me there will be no such thing as banned or not banned if/when G/Y is no longer the major player. So it's a waste of time integrating that now.

As far as keywords, we displayed the master keyword option. But we haven't been using it for months due to demands by G to switch to theirs. So now we just simply removed it from being displayed in the UI. Nothing has changed on the parked pages.

2. Reports sent to email daily. I started having students on domain parking and it helps me to know what they earn every day without having to teamviewer with them every day. They are all across the globe.
3. Folders. I just bought 200 more domains to be parked. I want to know if I raise my income by buying more domains or by other means.

I think that's all.

NB: Google feed is still king for chinese visitors. I am still working with an MLM that can convert chinese visitors into sales. Let's see if that works. But meanwhile, google feed is still the way to go.

Also is whether domains get secondary feed or not a good indication of whether the domain parker send high quality traffic or not? I mean if no/few high trafficked domains are banned that means the traffic is good right. Am I correct here?

Traffic keeps increasing. All high traffic domains got google feed. Yet ecpm drops significantly. I guess it's just fluctuation but I'll be glad to know if there is something unusual.

I agree with all that. #2 is easiest to implement but right now we are getting ready to release something in 2 weeks so I'm not certain I can squeeze anything in this upcoming release.

The folders is complex but also do-able and has been a feature request since the first day. Will eventually make its appearance on Bodis.
