I moved all my names after 4+ years at Parked to Bodis a couple months ago at your re-launch

I was averaging $150 /mo with Parked after years of eroding RPMs and now I'm averaging $450 /mo a Bodis. Nothing else changed, just swapped DNS.

Although the amount is small and it's net negative with the cost to renew my 100 names, it's a huge step up from what I was getting at Parked and I wanted to give you a big 'thanks' for all your efforts. Best of luck with your upcoming announcements and down the road.

How frequently are parking stats updated?

Twice an hour. I make it to be 10 past the hour & then 20 minutes to the hour.

Just a notice: all payments have gone out for March with the exception of PayPal which is scheduled to go out on Tuesday May 3rd.

Not sure why, but apparently PayPal this month has decided to take 6 days to transfer funds.

The good news is starting the next payment cycle, we should be able to get PayPal out consistently closer to the 25th/26th of each month rather than 30th/31st as we no longer will need to rush to transfer funds to PayPal anymore.

More news on payment improvements coming soon!

I like Bodis but there's something wrong with payments and support. I expected to receive my first payment on 30 April as specified in their FAQ. When I didn't get it I sent a question to the support and they replied me that the PayPal payment would be issued on 3 May. Now is 8 May and still no payment. Does anybody have similar payment issues with Bodis?

Yes we do send out payments usually by the 30th +/- a few days depending on how fast PayPal processes the add funds transfer.

March payments went out on May 3rd.

If you didn't receive it then there is some other issue. Can you please PM me your Bodis email address so I can take a look?

Have you contacted support after the 3rd?

Hi CFGuru, if some chinese traffic are absolutely useless, what about if I pluckly ask you to send that to my page and we split the profit. Secondlife.com pays $.75 for chinese visitors and they convert at $ .001 per visitors so equivalent with $1 ecpm which is 20% of American ecpm.

Actually I want to buy traffic from bodis and send that to linkshare. But I am a small guy. What about if secondlife decide not to pay me and all.

I admit, I underestimated the time frame it required to finish the templates and the updated UI system. But we'll have it soon and I promise it will deliver. Oh it'll deliver.

Chinese traffic is typically good. Only the Chinese adult traffic is not as useful because it is illegal in China therefore there are little to no advertisers for it.

Right now I'm integrating a full blown CPA system where advertisers and ad networks can buy visitors directly.

I've started testing this a few days ago and it is working very well. Some domains have tripled in revenue in tests. Some of it will start being live tonight and therefore it will show in tomorrow's revenue on some domains.

There's however so much we can do as we are tied into an exclusivity deal with G and can't touch that traffic. We can only play with traffic that is banned by G.

However, if this CPA thing takes off, you never know...one day we might just rely on only that - some of it is very promising and outperforms G in tests. For the first time I'll say that G has something to worry about.

I can see CPA taking over in next 2-3 years for the domain parking industry.

I think domain parking will exist for a very long time. It is far from being dead. We've hit the lowest point already.

And is there any possibility of more detailed reports to appear in your system?

Is the revenue for multiple domains by multiple date ranges (today, yesterday, this month, last month etc) coming any time soon. Is there an ETA?

To agnost: Yes many requests for custom for sale link but holding off on that for reasons that will eventually be self explanatory.

The update with new templates and UI will offer extremely detailed reports.

To stub: Ah multiple domains. I thought you always wanted ranges for single domain and I kept saying that it is already there. Sorry for past confusion.

It is very easy to add multiple domain search to Manage Domains (for instance where you can enter 1 domain per line into an input box). It is also not too difficult for earnings report, however if you search 1000 domains in earnings report you may be waiting a few minutes for the results. With 10-20 domains it wouldn't be as much of a problem so I'd have to limit it to something like 100 domains per submission.

I was thinking of putting this in, in the future once folders appear. But I can definitely add it into the API by tonight. However, I have to wait for developer to add it to the UI.

The UI uses our API so I always develop the APIs and developer takes care of UI, design, functionality, etc as I am terrible at it.

So I guess tonight I'll have CPA + multiple domain search ready in API at least so that my developer can try to squeeze it into UI same update as the templates. A lot of requests for this so might be a wise thing to add it in.

Update:

I have added multiple domain search in Manage Domains and Earnings Report in the API. To my surprise, it also works in the Bodis.com UI by accident!

Basically, in Bodis.com UI search for multiple domains in the input box by a comma to get results for them, example:

financialsystems.com,onlinegames.com,botanicgarden.com

This works in both the Manage Domains and the Earnings Report.

When working with our programmatic API, you can do this by passing multiple domains in the &domain URL parameter all seperated by a comma, example:

&domain=financialsystems.com,onlinegames.com,botanicgarden.com

Or by doing the following:

&domain1=financialsystems.com&domain2=onlinegames.com&domain3=botanicgarden.com

Both formats are acceptable.

The Bodis.com UI will be updated and labeled that you can do multiple domains, it will also be changed from an input box to a textarea box so you can paste all your domains in one line at a time.

I guess temporarily this will do until the upcoming update.

I can say I'm proud of your work. I've tested pretty much every parking company (tests with thousands of domains) that exists and if I'm with Bodis now it's for one good reason. Sure, it could be better, and I haven't optimized any domain, but comparing with others nowadays...

I'm looking forward for your UI upgrade, the reason that made me signup with Bodis was the future extensive stats. The multiple domain reports was something that was missing but I'm glad that was taken care
CPA offers can pay much, much more than PPC, but it's not easy to manage.

I'm really interested to see how it will work with Bodis!

Ah, I've been spreading the word about you and some of those people said that it's nice to see a smaller company innovating on this field.
