Hi Matt

A couple of things you might want to tweak when you get time. Someone else mentioned this, and I also believe it needs an adjustment. When you change hue and saturation, the title sometimes gets very faint, almost unreadable.

Also, if you have long link names they get truncated. If you crop the photo to get more room, sometimes the photo gets too small to be effective. Is there anyway to wrap the line to show a second line for that link so there is no truncation?

I'm Impressed with the customisation options, I wonder how far we can take this thing... Has anyone tried using a parked Bodis page to host a simple blog, or other dynamic content? I don't see why it can't be done.

Please do not squat on our company name. We are not Youtube. We do not generate millions of visitors on our Bodis.com homepage. So far I've secured a bunch of typos of our site, so this Boodis.com will be another one on the list.

We are adding in new features and fixing bugs on the domain management as I speak. We are also going to give you the option to not use a main image for your landing pages. This way you can place content / images within the content instead.

An auto-keyword generator will be there as well. As well as options to delete uploaded images, search images, modify header text color, and a few other small things.

Once we get this out and fix all the bugs that there are, we will open the registration. So it should all take 2-3 days. After the registration goes smoothly and everything is ironed out, I'll go ahead and open the marketplace.

BODIS 2.0 Earnings Report

Matt,

As one of the charter members of BODIS v1.0 who stuck with it for the long haul, let me first of all, add my congratulations and sincere thanks for all your work and efforts on BODIS v2.0 (Best Overall Domain Investment Service?). Your vision and work has produced a most unique parking service with some great new features and an appealing and unique look. Whether it turns out to be the most powerful parking service will be determined by revenue performance over the next weeks and months.

I have 114 domains in a variety of different niches parked at BODIS. As an initial comparison of revenue performance, here are the averages over some recent time periods:

These figures are overall averages per day for all 114 domains.

As we can see the visitors/day dropped dramatically with v2.0, and as Matt explained it is due to the filtering out of all bots and invalid traffic from the stats. The huge increase of RPM with v2.0 is a result of this reduction in visitor count, because the average revenue has remained about the same. I would expect that the revenue numbers may improve over time as the effects of v2.0 work their magic -- let us all hope so!

Matt, I have some questions about the "Earnings Report":

1. Today is 7/17. The last date we have stats for is 7/14. When will stats be up to date?
2. When will stats be updated every day? At what time/time-zone?
3. Will we eventually see number of clicks and CTR numbers?
4. Will we eventually see RPC?
5. Are "Zero-Clicks" active for all the domains for which we set to "Yes"? If not, when?
6. How will we be able to tell what part of our revenue has been generated by "Zero-Clicks"?

I am a bit curious as to why the stats take days to update as well. All stats are generally sent to the parking company the next day, and shouldn't this just be auto updated to our accounts? It almost seems as though Bodis has to calculate either click prices themselves or sort through a database of clicks and match them up.... which might be why it is often delayed by a few days.

No we do not come up with our own prices or go through any manual process to update your earnings other than a click of a button.

We should be updating earnings daily, although since we have over 15 providers that we use, some of them may have a day where stats are delayed. We need exact revenue figures from each provider in order to update your stats. Earlier, it was our fault. Integration of Zero Click and a different reporting made forced myself to delay your stats.

This time it was our Yahoo UK stats which were delayed by 2 days for the 15th. We got the stats for 16th this morning. The 15th didn't come in until just an hour or two ago. Our Yahoo UK (or EU I should say) are the only providers that we do not get bid prices from in real time. So we absolutely MUST wait for the stats to come back.

I check over all earnings and make sure everything is reported properly so that there are no wrong figures reported on the new system.

I am hoping that from this day forward we get all of our stats without many delays. The stats for 15th and 16th will be reported in your account in a bit. And I'll have the answers to the rest of everyone's questions later tonight.

So the keywords are the menu items? Where is the master keyword set?

Thanks for posting your earnings results as well. It is very helpful to see the comparisons. You seem to be doing a bit better in earnings with your names than mine, but as you pointed out, the trend is the same. As I said, we will hopefully see the earnings improve over time as the improvements of the BODIS 2.0 improvements take effect.

As for setting keywords, from my own experience with the BODIS 2.0 Domain Management, it appears you can set the "keywords" in the "Navigation Menu" area to anything you want, either by clicking on the "Add a Link" link at the bottom or by clicking on an existing "keyword" link and over-typing it with a replacement. To avoid violating the TOS, keep the keyword links relevant to the domain's niche.

After clicking on "Save Changes" at the bottom, I would suggest checking the actual results of those links on your site to make sure you get appropriate ad links on the results page.
