I am a great fan of Bido.com. But lately there seems to be lack of buyers. Do any of you still list your domains at Bido.com and where have all the buyers gone? Shame to see lots of auctions and only a few $38 bids.

Bido is a D2D (domainer to domainer) place. 'Nuff said.
The forums aren't much different either, the reseller market is flat.

I like Bido and have gotten a few good deals there I guess because people seem to have forgotten about it.

When the domain reseller market picks up I am sure it will get busier

Seems like there are a lack of buyers everywhere lately.
I was selling really well over at GFY and then the last month I cant give the names a way.
Must be the holidays who knows.

Bido who?

I thought that crap shut down (again) once & for all

What happened to the fictitious $600,000 offer they supposedly received to purchase the site?
Obviously the idea was to draw out a higher offer from the 'firm offer in hand'

Domainers can't even keep a straight face with all the lies, fake hype, fantasy offers in hand etc

Sorry Sahar, no money for you! _\|/_:bah:

It was an interesting concept when they initially started with that no-reserve 1 a day auction, but it wasn't viable.

Since then it closed, restarted, then introduced all these gimmicks, guaranteed pricing, voting etc. Last I visited, it seemed like it became a dumping ground, and I never returned.

Not only Bido, this is the case on eBay and most forums (where endusers don't buy). What woud've fetched mid xx a year or two ago is barely pulling in anything now.

I think Bido has lost allot of business over the years. People signup and list names..the names never sell or get any offers, so they move on and stop listing there.

If they came up with a better concept the site probably could have succeeded, but it doesn't look like they do much business these days.

No success for me at bido. Mostly they serve to domainers and domainers wont pay more than reg fee.

I think bido lacks marketing and reach out.
