I was looking for new market places to sell my domain names so I googled and I found @snapnames. I signed up and I was charged a couple times on my card and when I went ahead to list my domain names it was not giving me any option where I could list my domains. I got a chat pop-up asking if I needed any help and I said yes I am having problem listing my domains here on snapnames and would appreciate if they could help. He replied they no longer have that service. I was like dude why are you people even advertising it if you have stopped the services and he was like I apologise but can't do much.I was like okay what about the money I was charged he said it was a hold and will be refunded back within 5-7 business days. After 2 months of raising tickets and sending emails I was told they did not charge me any money, I got frustrated and closed my account with them. I request all of the new users not to open accounts with them, they are bunch of crackheads and robbers. I am attaching all the emails I have sent them to which they did not reply along with my bank statement screenshots which I mailed them too

They make those small charges (less than $1) to verify your card, but they refund them.
Haven't they refunded you?

What a weird idea. Who told you you can sell domains at Snapnames? You could try list them at NewYork Times or NASA or whatever website with the same success.

Snapnames is a dropcatching service, and you verify your card there to be able to make backorders. Not to sell your domains.

No they have not.. They said they did not find any charges that was made on my card through them even after I emailed them the screen shot of the charges.. I knew it was a drop catching service but it advertised on Google search about their marketplace where we could list our domains for selling hence it was not an idea just the fact that Snapnames had a marketplace where people were listing domains for sale, not active anymore

If you never got a refund try doing a chargeback.

I had to threaten NetSol with that AND post a report on BBB to get my money back on a ridiculously small transaction with tons of fees. All they had to do was refund me via chat or ticket and no problems but they decided to ignore me and I went a few steps further.

Maybe that'll help.

I should probably contact my bank and have them take care of it.. It's a small amount I know, But hey it's my money and they made false commitment, something which is not ethical.. I sent them almost 15- 20 emails and they replied only twice asking me for bank statement, which I sent them.. Newbies please stay away from such big names who does not have any value for its customers.

First time hearing about this platform, just did some digging and found out that they seem to not be preferred by domain flippers.

@RachaelJetkins I read a lot about Snapnames on many forums before registering with them and they sounded genuine. However I am glad I found out early about them.I just wish there's a way to stop them. So people don't have to go through all the trouble.

If you're looking to sell domains then contact namejet instead about becoming a seller on there.

You don't pay anything to list but they do charge a 15% commission of whatever you sell. If it don't sell then you don't pay anything

Threads like this help a lot on profiling. When someone thinks they have enough evidence to warrant calling out a thief rather than having it proven first then up goes a red flag. If reacting to very little money off goes another red flag. At what point did you ring and ask to speak to a supervisor or manager?

@lock Money is Money little or more what matters more is the commitment. At the time of signing up they said it's just a hold which would be reversed within 7-10 business days. I waited almost 2 months and tried to contact them through email and after emailing them several times and sending them screenshots of my bank records I was told they don't see any charges on the record, After emailing them almost everyday to get status on the refund they did not reply at all, So I gave up. Irrespective of the amount a commitment not fulfilled in terms of money is a robbery or a scam. Moreover I am here for business and not charity so if someone takes my money less or more and does not wish to give it back is a theif.

Snapnames definitely did allow selling of private domains on their platform. It is not a weird idea and neither an alien concept. NJ, DC, GD, DD etc all have dropcatching platforms. But at each, you can also sell your domains as a private seller.
FYI: https://snapnames.com/domainsales/faq.action (You might need to login, I'm not sure).

If this Anthony is the same "Tony" when you call them up.. overall is very unpleasant and condescending to say the least (don't want to use expletives here)

They give robotic answers and tell you to wait and wait and wait.. took me about 1.5 months and constant follow-ups and having to deal with his attitude to have access to a domain they had caught for me, but of course was charged right away.

If no glitches, then their fine. If you need customer service.. then good luck

I read how to list domain names on name jet and came to know that you can only submit your domain names and they will list it only if they like them

https://help.namejet.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010271087-How-to-List-Your-Domains-for-Sale

That's mostly just to be accepted as a seller, i had to submit a decent number of domains for them to assess and to see if they were going to approve me. But now im a listed seller i just do a submission once a month and i get them all listed. But of course they don't accept absolute rubbish, if someone submitted oiruehgrjgieqrgier.com for example they wouldn't accept that
