It's not ideal, but at least gives people some time to update their website content and/or transfer their domain out.

If you can further convince eNom to exclude NameCheap customers from such enforcement, that would be spectacular.

It's great to see that NameCheap has taken steps to help resolve this and allow transferring the domains. 10 days is enough to transfer a domain, but of course its always possible that the domain owner won't receive the notice on time.

Or possibly not at all in the case in a recent reported incident by mis_chiff who has a .CA domain being held hostage...
