Better way to contact potential end-user??

Hi guys, i'm newbie, i want to contact some potential end user to offer my domains, which is the better way? I think i could send an email but i don't know what i should write? Or should i cold call?

Thanks for your answer..i must say, so thorough.
I know there are other similar discussion on NP but i ask for more advice about the possible best way to offer the domain..if it's better a short email or a message more descriptive..if i should include price or other etc.
