How to contact an end user

I am very new to all this and I have a few domain names that would be great for certain end-users. Do any of you contact end users by email and offer to sell your domains, or would this be a form of spam? What is the best way to do this? Should I open a email account just for this purpose?

Sorry if this sees like a stupid question. I have been reading for hours on this site trying to find all the answers to my questions.

I would just really appreciate any advice you can give.

Get e-mail for your domains and target your subject

line to a decision maker. I am guessing that e-mails with your domain in are much less likely to get filtered into junk or spam folders.Additionally , in my opinion , domain e-mail addresses look much more professional. Send at least 30-50 e-mails , maybe even 100 for one name. Expect to get 3-5 responses. For better results really look for good contact information. Send e-mails asking for the correct contact information before you just send out the mail to the company. And , then, of course , there is the potential of calling phone numbers , faxing , and possibly the most effective method: face to face meetings . Be prepared to immediately answer any questions about transferring the name, and how long they must let the name sit at a specific registrar.As well as what they must pay each year to keep the name. Use escrow.com for larger sales and watch out for paypal. They will freeze your account if the name is adult or gambling . And they have been known to freeze accounts for any reason they feel like ; they take their time unlocking the account. Choose one or two names and drill away. A short explanation about why the name would be good for the company can help ie this name has your market niche included in it, could help it rank more effectively in serps pages. But, as has been said before don't get too elaborate, most likely if its catchy they will want it.

If they have the .com they usually won't care about the other TLDs. Once in a while they could still be interested in the other major exts for defensive purposes but don't expect to make a huge profit. IMO: waste of time.

You have to keep their attention fast, so if you mail them the subject
it's very important.

Suppose that someone has "BigMistake.com" and you've got "BigMistakeS.com".

You could put your domain name in the subject, remarking the
typo.

Example: "bigmistakeS.com - For Sale".
