'Beavis And Butt-Head' returning to MTV with new episodes!

I haven't seen anyone mention this on here and forum searches show this had never been posted anywhere. So I figured I'd let you all know: BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD ARE RETURNING THIS FALL WITH NEW EPISODES!

Two of MTV's biggest icons are returning this summer, and according to executives at the network, they will pick up right where they left off. The launch date for the brand-new episodes of "Beavis and Butt-head" has not yet been made official, but longtime fans (as well as newcomers) can rest assured that the boys will be the same old bored, TV-obsessed, somewhat violent, anti-authoritarian unit they've always been.

"They'll have the same intelligence," MTV President Van Toffler told Rolling Stone in an exclusive interview. "They're the same boneheads sitting on the same couch, commenting on things through a really simple prism."

There will be a new element or two. While the boys used to obsessively watch old music videos, this time around, they'll poke fun at UFC matches, YouTube clips and even segments from "Jersey Shore."

According to thehollywoodreporter.com, Beavis and Butt-head premieres the first of its 12 new episodes on Oct. 27 at 10 p.m. on MTV.

B&BH is actually widely regarded by many (even critics) as one of the best shows of the 1990s. This beats the hell outta pointless crap like, well, practically everything MTV had done since 2000.

MTV wants to put the M back in its name but they've found difficulty. This show is supposed to help them wean music back into the channel. I wonder how many seasons this new one will receive...

I like B&BH but I think MTV is just running out of ideas and that is why they are resurrecting the show.

That could be it but one must remember Hollywood is in the same funk. TV/movies, look out for reboots/remakes of: Spider-man, Lethal Weapon, the Munsters, Gilligan's Island, Charlie's Angels etc. And Ghostbusters 3 AND 4 will hit theaters soon. I'm a f***ing muse. I have a billion ideas. But Hollywood can't come up with anything new?
