database updated every 24 hours, but if you register a domain from the list, you can hit the update button next to the domain name to update it instantly. Page rank is not verified though, still working on how to verify it automagically.

Thanks for the comment, well I'll work on it if I got some more free time :hehe:
In the meantime, you can use underscore as replacement for 1 char.
and just put the search in "Begin with" box.
e.g: _____.com (for 5 chars .com)
