Hey Folks,

I've just started using squadhelp.com to list some of my brandable. So far I have 76 domains listed, there is no fee to list. I've had some decent action so far in the way of interested buyers but no sales as of yet. I've only been with them for 1 week now.

A bit of a summary review of SquadHelp:

PROS
  • No Listing fee
  • No Logo design fee
  • Ability to submit your names to end users holding naming contests
  • Ability to chat directly or send a message directly to end users.
  • Stats of your marketplace domains are shown in the marketplace dashboard.
  • Their customer service and support has been great, 24hr a day chat.
  • Ability to increase or decrease the list price of your domains or to show a discount. You can decrease or increase the price yourself by $200. If you want to lower more, you can contact support.
  • End users can shortlist your domains before they make a decision on which they want to purchase. The number of shortlists is shown in you marketplace dashboard.
  • When you submit your names you get to set the price you wish to get. Because their commissions are high I recommend listing at a higher price to offset the commission costs.
  • Their landing pages are fairly basic but they work. Because the marketplace is fairly new, I'm sure we will see style improvements in the future.
  • One thing I really like is they accept multiple extensions. I have listed .co and .io along with .com
  • Each seller gets a direct link to their marketplace portfolio, HERES MY PORTFOLIO. It is handy if your trying to p[promote your portfolio through social media.
  • I like that their marketplace doesn't have tens of thousands domain listings like BB. They are fairly strict on the domains they accept to list and so this helps keep the number of domains in the marketplace down and gets your listings more exposure.
CONS
  • Their commissions are very high, depending on the domain name they are usually between 30% and 35%. However, there are no listing fees, no logo design fees, so in the end their commission is very similar to brand buckets.
  • Their logos are not top quality, in fact I requested to have some of my logos remade.
  • I think they have a big backlog of logos to design, the wait time for logo design has been around 1 week, but your names are still listed while the logos are being designed.
  • After your names are accepted you need to agree to their commission rate, at this point you also need to apply your own keywords, descriptions etc. I found this was very time consuming.

Got another board meeting candidates looking at a different domain this time. Anyone else has these kind of visits? But domain dashboard shows no views in 7 days / no repeat views.

For me trump consulted elon musk more than two hours, but no decision taken yet, They are worried thinking domain could belong to mamdani !

@clickcents @NameGroove @love4ever Has any of these 10+/30+ mins spent on landing page resulted in a sale or received any offers? Wondering what results in too much of time spent. Probably they opened something else on and another tab and never bothered to look at this later or close it? Or on the positive side, they open a chat with the support and bargain 😋?

Any positive outcome/offers or something we need to learn to ignore (probably a bot)?

None of those had any repeat visitors or offers, except for one.

I never heard back from them again though, so maybe they fled the country and forgot to take their laptop. It could still be stuck on that lander page till this very day.

Is this a good time to try super boost or better after the Black friday offer days are over, to get porential views and lander visits? Tried standard boost on 25 domains but dont see much difference in the past 4 days. Any strategy when to use?
Has anyone tried Boosting their domain during this black friday offer time? Worth using now? Or since this is not a FMCG product, boosting visibility is not going to make any change?

My avg time spent is around at least 2-4+ hrs a day. Probably more at times when i decide to recheck all keywords, possible uses, views count etc etc 🥴🤕

No offers..no sales 😕

Has anybody here got a sale positively because of the black friday price drop advantage? Already 12 days passed and 9 days to go..no results yet to my platinum portfolio

I had a sale during last 25% offer period (May) (July). But that was a Standard listing and direct landing (i offered 25% on that as well). I expected some thing positive this time since my portfolio size has comparatively increased later. But nothing till now. I even tried standard boost on 25 domains but the views are just as usual.

He should be having names in 5 digits and def can't look at them. Once I reach that state 😋 i would look back at my domains probably only during the renewals and spend most of my time on shopping new domains for my portfolio.
But, spending more time looking at the portfolio is not going to bring the buyer as well. I just look at the statistics with a hope there would be something to learn out of that.

Looks like there was a decrease over the Thanksgiving weekend, particularly on Black Friday, what does that say about the effectiveness of the sale?

No sales on Atom this month... Hopefully Cyber Monday will bring the sales...

I purchased a domain from atom wholesale market and got notification that domain grabbed by someone just seconds before my purchase !! Which silliness is this !!?? :(

Now after three hours i can see the domain still available for sale !!

@Atom.com Please remove any domain purchased immediately when payment is done . No need for such miserable cases, And to start contacting atom team to explain and waiting refund within 24 hours and wasting peoples time !!!!

@Atom.com have you considered letting us list premium domains on Sedo at 10%+, like we can on Afternic and ICANN Registrar marketplaces?

No sales on Atom during Black Week. But new TM results from TM monitoring today. These are quite useful regarding pending applications, submitted after I registered the matching domain names.
