Appraisals on Flippa are just ridiculous

Everytime I go to f-l-i-p-p-a and participate in the free appraisals i can't believe the idiots who are giving people $5,000 appraisals and more. Is it crazy or just me? Are they trying to pump each other up? Are these the same people putting their domains on go daddy for $999,999? It,s like they just see a four letter domain and go wow those are so rare that should at least go for $200,000!!

Of course the majority are ridiculous because they're incentived, And moreover, it's based upon quantity, not quality. That said, not sure if there is a way around it, other than not offering anything in exchange for appraisals. In that case, people would be more likely to provide objective [as objective as possible, that is] appraisals similar to the appraisal forum here where you're just speaking your mind and offer your thoughts just because you feel like it.

Appraisal on Flippa are totally useless, they focus on doing enough to get a free listing, most of the time it's a copy+paste or just a random quote.
