Hello,

I need to know your price for the domain. Please send it via email.

Did you get offers from other people?

I run a software company. We develop client-server systems and databases in Oracle for a local company. Buying and selling domain names is not my main business. Just another way to invest money and make additional income.

Looking forward to do business with you.

Best regards,

Wohoo Finally got it, I felt left out for not getting this scam.

Now time to have some fun!

NOTE: I don't own 3me.info anymore, I sold it a longgggg time ago.

Here's my respond:

Hello Michael,

I am glad you contacted me, I recently got a 25 cent offer on the domain, if you want you can have it for 50 cents?

Please contact me as soon as possible

Thank You,
3me.info Owner

I will keep updating this topic

What happens, is he asks to get an appraisal at a trusted company, which he really owns. You pay the money for the appraisal, then he doesn't want it anymore. In turn, he gets money for the appraisal and you are left like $20 short.

i thought this scam had ended

Heh, richard's account is closed :p

Anyway, I got this scam, asked a few million for it and he said OK. ($1 mil for... BusinessDay.us, yeah, sure! lol)

This guy's a loser. You end up losing like $100, not just $20.

Ouch. That's awesome though, 1 mill for that. I wonder why he got banned...

Ha! I can't wait to see him ask you to get an appraisal for the 50 cents! LOL

Lol, I got both.

The first one I absolutely refused to get any appraisal. It ended.

The secod one I thought for a second, why CIRA.ca is contacting me (I own .ca names and I am in Canada), so I read the letter and then found it is unsolicited mail, so it ended in trash right away.

I too was going to say something like you can have my domain for $2.00 just to see what his reply would be. Instead I replied that I work for an internet watchdog group that tracks incidents of consumer fraud. I asked what local???Russian??? company. Also, I asked for his phone # so we could talk. Haven't heard back but got two "loaded" emails 10 min after sending my reply. Anyone know if the class action lawsuit against these perps has made any headway? I've got some ideas of my own for sending out a MAJOR warning to people who may fall victim to this neverending appraisal @#$!$

I got this email today, my first one (not sure if i should be happy or sad)
From the email:

"Paul Deegan" <[email protected]>

Wouldn't it be good to teach these people a lesson somehow in a return email e.g. track their ip or something and then contact their isp(but i guess they use proxy ip addresses)

What I have done is told the guy that if he wants to buy the domainname(s) he has to contact a 3th party company like Afternic and let them nagotiate with me end let them do the handeling for them.

After it not received any mail anymore.

I discovered this forum because I searched on his e-mail details. His first e-mail is from bonbon.net webmail and the second one of his own computer.

The guy is not very smart I think.

with out having a direct trace back him, he'll just change anmes.

his real idenity and locaiton needs to be pinpointed and then eveyrone flog his lame ass and any that directly link back to him.

be a good idea to make such information availible everywhere,

EVERYONE, chase him all over, right off the net.

Guess this means they ain't buying my domain.

Mine came from.."Deegan" <[email protected]> I had the domain appraised, but not by his recomended appraiser and he said it was unacceptable. So i replied for him to pay the appraisal and haven't heard from him since. Sounds like this is comming out of India.

I can tell you one interesting fact:
bonbon.net is a domain offered by a free POP3 Email provider - HOTPOP.com.
Nothing related to BON Software Engineering or whatever.
