You can make $300 a day if you have a big Parking Lot.

Most "serious parking domain investors" are making more in the range of $1K-$3K per month - but it takes alot of work and research.

Of course there's just a few people in this world who can do this.

Perhaps you're one of the few exceptional people in this world who can do this. Well, if you can share us a little of your secrets then this might benefit us in one way or another.

smurge is the guy that got a lot of us into parking :)

particularly, this thread here:

Thanks Hypersot.

Well,I've checked 3 pages for the thread.Still haven't seen really useful tips.Besides, after noticing his "consulting services" being always available to the public. He seems more like a broker than an operator.

Of course I'll check the rest pages in the next few days to help me form a more accurate viewpoint.

What's your opinion of Smurge?Have you found many valuable domains following his tips?

My secret is,look more,think more,act more.

Thinking More is much more important than the other two steps.

Try to ask smurge, he is been in 6 figures per month for ages, could be that now he is in 7 figures per month...Just guessing :)

Hi decades80,just share me with more info. How do you know Smurge is making so much?Don't be stingy.

As far as I know,6 figures per month in USD from domain parking is kind of possible for some very intelligent and diligent guy.But,7 figures per month..Maybe there is only one person in this world,or I should call it one company, could achieve this.

Why not observe the stats of ourselves?combining with the time we devoted for it?To help us better understand how hard it is to get a daily profit as high as x,xxx USD.

Only possible with type-in traffic from category killer domains like casino.com, porn.com, livesex.com, sexcams.com, hotels.com etc. 30% to 40% affiliate commission for casino / cams.

The prices demanded for those premium domains are now far beyond what they could pay back via their traffic,so it's not a profitable solution.Besides,it's called affiliate marketing, not parking anymore..

Parking is much more difficult.

Anyway,thanks for sharing your ideas.

That thread got me into parking, it doesn't mean that I followed what was written there ;)

It took me a couple of months, after I started parking, to realise that I should do my own thing, find my own way of researching domains for parking since the backlink-way was too crowded at the time.

One thing I've learned while parking domains is to always find different ways to research. Things constantly change and we need to diversify (is this a correct word?) so we won't get stagnant.

Last few months parking revenue has dropped more than 50% for me, by applying the above mentality I'm starting again to recover the lost ground.

Parking is not for the faint of heart lol, it's way harder than just selling domains I can tell you that :)

Can't agree with you any more especially on the point "find your own way"! Why has your rev dropped more than 50% last few months? It sounds like a disaster.

And a lot of cash to buy domains with good NON BOT traffic.

...Besides,it's called affiliate marketing, not parking anymore..
Parking is much more difficult.

I think you've hit the nail on the head: $300/day from traditional parking with the likes of Sedo and/or Adsense? Or $300/day with affiliate marketing included? Two different subjects entirely.

so as far as I see
you have no intention to reveal any insights that could help others

and you mix the 2 terms affiliate marketing and parking

parking is not called affiliate marketig today
aff marketing exists since 1999 or so

and no its was no joke
the only who make money parking are
the parking companies

It's still possible in this day and age to make good revenue from parked domains. It all comes down to targeting the right kind of domains - there are several models that work for different investors - but it will take alot of time, research and energy to start generating serious cash-flow via parking.

One of the keys to being successfull is to not overpay for domains at auctions. I recently won a .ORG domain for $350 - that is making $35-$50/month. Seems like a reasonably good deal. But a few weeks later, with a coupon code, I registered another domain for $2.20 - that is making $3/day.

It is all about diversifying (niches, extensions, sources of traffic) and testing.

well, that wasn't only me. There is a thread here where a few users talked about that:

I think the decline won't be so abvious if you are holding 1000+ domains.
For me, -20% compared to last year

Just domain parking.I've described it very clearly in the title.
