Achtung ...
depends which interpretation of "live" you want. Leben is the infinitive of the verb "to live" - but in this form it isn't a command (Live TV!) or an adjective (live (from Wembley) TV).

so livetv (as opposed to taped tv) would be achtungtv?

No Smash - don't think so.

I got kicked out of German class at High School when I was 13 yo for being horrible to the teacher from memory (...... well, she deserved it!) - anyway, "achtung" means attention.

Achtung = 'watch out!'
Think you need to ask a native. My dictionary throws up "Live" in German too - but live.tv has gone ;)

Live
..
2 adv. (Radio, Telev.) live ‹*übertragen usw.*›

h smash, for the meaning you are going in regards to tv, "live (as in live broadcast)" would be:

Liveübertragung or Livesendung

It is like "Living TV" I think. I suppose that would be OK for programs related to enjoying life or such.

hi Smash,
I have translated this, with an online translating utility, into Greek and then back in to English. And this is the outcome-

"I have then translated this, with a in direct connection usefulness of translation, in Greek and behind in in the English. And this is the result."

:)

LebenTV literally means "life TV". Which is to say, it makes no sense. The term "live" is well established, just google for Live-Übertragung (live broadcast/transmission), and it has been added to the German language reference Duden, so that really nails that case shut.
