I've been noticing an upcoming trend of interest in foreign language .tv domains.
Noticeable sales are being reported more often, fellow .tv'ers are asking help for translations.

So in light of this upcoming rage, I've decided (while driving, which could of been quite dangerious :yell:) that they're should be a refuge where people can ask help to members that are fluent in more then one language.

Although English is the international language of business, we must not forget that they're are still loads of businessmen, investors, etc.. that surprisingly don't speak a word of English.

I will start with yours truly, I speak:

Dutch
Spanish

So if you need any help with these languages, let me know!

Now for rest of you, pls post languages that you are fluent in...
I'm sure they're are a few French, Italian, Portuguese, German people here...

So let's see!

I speak UK English :)

Sounds silly, but I often see domains mentioned on NP that are targetting the UK but using words or spelling that is not used here - like "auto insurance" instead of "car insurance"

Cheers, Jon

British English
and
Welsh

I'm can also fumble through 12 other European languages, but I wouldn't be brave enough to offer translations for them (esp when people's financial decisions are involved!)

:)

I think this thread should be "Stickied". :tu:

It is important to know who to contact should you need advice on any language that is not your own.

Many thanks to all those who have made themselves available for this.

I speak Spanish and will offer the following advice - just because a foreign language domain might be available doesn't make it a great investment. Sometimes the foreign language equivalent isn't really searched that much due to cultural, economic or other factors. There are fewer online web surfers in many languages than in English so that will also affect the demand for a particular keyword or phrase. And the concept of paying money for an alternate extension domain may be considered odd.

Well, most of the good ones are premium and are reserved by me but you can preorder non-premiums starting today actually, go to REGISTER.BLONDE and register YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME.Blonde. Its important for you to protect your copyrights and therefor you should do like all serious companys and register your companyname.blonde before someone else takes it! HURRY, FAST!
