.mobi Anyone know where NP member "Mobi Cheap" is?

Does anyone by any chance know the whereabouts of Mobi Cheap? He bought a few .mobi names from me over a month ago, sent payment, and then vanished before giving me the info needed to push the domains.

As he previously posted here at a rate of 6 posts per day and hasn't been here or posted since Feb. 25, I'm starting to wonder if something has happened to him. I've tried sending him PMs and e-mails...nothing.

He does have this in his sig: "All PM discussions must be finalized ASAP." So I suppose he may have known he'd be taking off somewhere. Still, it's a bit worrisome when people disappear that suddenly and completely.

Any information would be appreciated!

Yes...I did have his e-mail and had tried contacting him that way as well but heard nothing back.

If you know any domains he owns (surely he mentioned one in a post somewhere), then you can get his address and phone from whois.

Things happen suddenly, I remember an ebay seller whose computer conked out, it was months before he was back online.

I enjoyed Mobicheap, hope he is back soon.

That's definitely some very useful advise. Keep in mind also that if your having troubles through your own computer network, you would still have your friends, family, public library......plenty of other options to get online.

The Whois should definitely lead to something if you can trace back and find one of MC's domains.

In regards to the Whois information maybe phone number or home address that hasn't yet been tried. I know Dag said he did try the e-mail address, but not the home phone number or home address if I'm understanding correctly.

I sold a domain to someone awhile back who actually went on vacation before the transaction finished. No biggie - since you've been paid and have the domain, just a waiting game.

True enough...it's just that it would be a long vacation, and I know that I for one could never go that long without checking in on the domain forums...

Also, I just noticed that Garrett200 hasn't been around at NP since Feb. 21! And he's a moderator...but of course maybe you know more about that, Reece.
