Any thoughts on One Word .VG, .GS, .TW, etc

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or opinions of these extensions:

.VG - British Virgin Islands
.MA - Montserrat
.TK - Tokelau
.TW - Taiwan
.NU - Niue
.GS - South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands

Do you think any 1 word (popular words) have any value?

Or know of any recent sales??

Yes. I just had a mid xxx sale on a .gs about three weeks ago.

.NU is usable for some purposes, and .TK is very well known and thus easy for mouth-to-mouth advertising. However, the others are useless IMO.

I don't think any of them are useless if you can land the good one word terms such as business, poker, golf, etc. I think the .tk value may be driven down just a bit because of the free domains that are out there. I'd stay away from that one unless you can land the premium names.

But due to those free domains, everyone knows .TK very well, it's a very popular extention. So a .TK name will be easily remembered. Plus, for 9 euro/year you own the domain without restrictions that count for free domains.
