hey everyone, needless to say im a newbie here. but here goes it!
Alright so I have officially jumped into the world of domains and am trying to grasp as much as possible from what I have learnt. I have:

-registered a couple domains from namecheap.com
-created a Bodis account (AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE)
-and parked these domains until I figure out what steps to take next

I am looking to create some revenue from these parked domains. the big question is how !: what tools did you use when starting out, stratagies, tips. Anything would be greatly appreciated!

I'm unaware if Bodis allows you to "build traffic" to a parked page or not.

Either way, I started to buy domains with existing traffic and proven revenue to fund future ventures. Now, it's passive income.

Thanks for the reply david! and I dont actually think I am able to build traffic with bodis, just clicked now... unlike Sedo I have no ability to choose keywords its just purely parked and left?
also how does a domain have and keep its existing traffic? being just a domain it must rely entirely on type in traffic since no keywords are "choosen"?

Bodis; among other parking companies, automatically optimize your parked pages to select relevant keywords, some do A/B testing of design, etc. for the highest CTR. It's in both of your interests by them doing this as it's less work for you to do (just sit back and count the clicks) and them to make as much money for you (so they can take their cut as well). Win-(Win-Win)

You shouldn't expect traffic to newly-registered domains... the only solution is to own domains that get type-in traffic or residual traffic because they were developed in the past. The vast majority of domains are unfit for parking simply.

Most all parking companies use a Google feed for their ads. Google thinks it's knows better than you deciding what your keywords should be and almost 100% of the time ignore your keyword suggestions you put at your parking provider. I'd leave your keywords blank most of the time and let google decide for you. Of course there will always be exceptions.

As sdsinc says, newly registered domains don't get traffic, unless they were registered before and have still remaining backlinks. As far as I can recall, Bodis allows you to build backlinks on domains parked there. But this is an exception to the rule, because every other provider will ban your domain and eventually you too, if they catch you at this practice. So before you start, I'd get explicit approval from Matt, that Bodis allows this practice.
